Does co2 need to be hydro tested? And when I oil my bolt do I just oil the o-rings on it? Thanks.

Yes and yes. There should be a date on your co2 tank that says when you need to get it tested. If your bottle is less than 5 years old, don't worry about it, but co2 bottles need to be tested every 5 years with a maximum lifespan of 15 years I think. Oil your bolt and o-rings.

Depending on whether you have A\S or not, it would probably be cheaper just to buy a new tank for $25 (if no anti-syphon) or for $35 (with anti-syphon) than spend $40 to send it in and get it tested.

Yes co2 needs to be hydro tested, it should say when on the tank. And you should also oil the whole bolt, including o-rings, since its moves and causes wear.

It depends on what kind of bolt you have. If it is a steel bolt sure lube it, but if it is delrin I wouldn't oil it because of possible swelling that might occur. Just lube the O-rings & you should be fine.
