I feel kinda like a noob saying this, but it has to be said:
will I be able to run a 3000 psi tank off of a bko? I heard something that you either cant use high pressure on a low pressure gun or you cant use low pressure on a high pressure gun. I do not know if the bko is h/lp. or does it not really matter

3000 Psi is the pressure inside the tank, not the pressure coming out of the tank....the tank's output after it goes through the reg is either 800 PSI or 450 PSI, you want one with an output of 800PSI or close to it.
And bko's are low pressure markers, but they can still run off of a high pressure tank....
Glad to help, but do a little research next time, this information was readily available here and other places on the intenet. ;)

lucky nailed it
the only reason you got confused, with the first batch of BKO's (in '02) their regs had problems running high pressure output tanks (800/850 instead of 450) however that problem was fixed a while ago, so you will not have any problems

sorry to say.... no, but you can run a BKO off a 3000 psi tank? Just kidding. JT and lucky answered very well to this one and as long as the reg on the tankis consistant you'll be happy
