Hi, I am new here :) I have about $300-400 dollars to spend (on just the gun, not mask tank etc.) what should I get and with what mods? I was thinking a Spyder Flash with a tear drop barrel and a 12v revvy. Any info would be greatly appricated.

id go for a cocker or a mag. you can get a 2k1 vert feed and 12v rev for $400. i have one and love it. they are great guns. mags are good to and you can get some in that price range. id steer away from spyders. i had a tl+ and i know about them and thier quality just doesnt compare to a mag or cocker

Well, if you can find a cocker and a revvy and tank for under your amount, I'd very very strongly recomend that over a spyder. The performance is gonna be better, and not only that but you really are getting more value for your money, even if you have to leave the cocker stock for a while. Just make sure you have enough money for a revvy as well. On the plus side, if you start getting serious about tournaments or just become a hard core rec baller, you can upgrade your cocker to be incredible, while your Spyder would need replacing. Just some food for thought

he doesnt need a tank so he could get the cocker. but make sure you get a rev you will be constantly outshooting your hopper. i played my first tournie with out one and i was missing people because i was outshooting my hopper

The cheapest I have seen an autococker for is $330 for the vert and $40 for the 12v revvy so thats about $370 in all. Would I need to the autococker on N2 or will it work ok on C02?

A stock cocker will work great on CO2

Anti-Siphon, right?

It'll even work without an anti-syphon, but it's gonna be infinitely more consistent using an anti syphon tank
