a/s tubes cost like $5.
This is why they need nitro or an A/S tube (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/search.php)

edit- and delete your spam posts outta my feedback thread.

Because without them, liquid CO2 enters the gun. It will freeze your gun, bust o-rings, etc.

wouldnt it do the same thing with any other gun? just as bad?

yes... but some guns are made to handle CO2.

...like cockers.

they were out before nitrogen was ever used in paintball guys, the people you hear about with the co2 horror stories are idiots who dont know how to do anything right and suck at life. if you use co2 in your cocker NOTHING bad is going to happen. as long as your careful nothing bad will happen, nitrogen or anitsiphon is not required.

or....

you could run a a/s/ co2 tank with your cocker and everything will be fine and dandy like wine and candy.

but not as fine if you were running teh HPA.

Spydey, check out GB's feedback thread in his sig, Gunner has spammed it asking why cockers need antisiphon tanks.

I can run my cocker fine on straight CO2, no A/S

And I don't know how many times Forest ran it on CO2 before he sold it to me.....

It's fine

Its better to run any gun, whether its made to run on co2 or not, with an a/s. I know you could say the same about HPA, but its really rather easy and inexpensive to get an a/s installed in your tank. It will be good for you and the gun, especially since its only like $10-15.
