ok last weekend i was at the fill station at my local field. i was filling my tank and when i got to about 2000psi some noob walks up with his dad and is like WOW DAD NITROGEN! He stares at the machine for about a minute and by then i am finished filling my tank but i decide to stay and watch. The noob then says DAD IM FILLING MY TANK WITH NITROGEN! because it was obvious that niether the father nor the son had ever played before that day the dad said to his son "No (insert name) you cant put nitrogen in a co2 tank nitrogens to dangerous" The kid then tells his dad that he;ll fill both of their tanks with co2 so that dad walks away. for the next 5 minutes i held in my laughter watching the kid trying to put compressed air into his co2 tank (which lacks a fill niple). finally i told the kid it wouldnt work and showed him how a compressed air tank fills and ohhh was he pissed.

two air fill stories. My friend has a 20 oz tank from like 1994 that he never got hydrotested. Every time he gets it filled, we run to the other side of the store, just incase it blows. One time we got it filled, and the thing turned white. Not the occasionsal powder that forms on a tank, but it turned pure white. We thought it was gonna blow, but it didn't.The second story just shows how crappy brass eagle is. My friend bought a 12 oz from brass eagle and went to get it filled. That night he was sleeping in his bed and he hard a huge boom. he work up and he saw shards of metal all over his room. the thing just spontaneously blew. Thank god he was ok.

once my friend had a bad oring on his reg, and knew it, so he asked for a fill and while they were filling it it started leaking, and he was like "wtf did you do to my gun??" then they were like "it was like that when yuo gave it to uss" and he was like... crap, well fix it anyway

Some of my friends run a local field here and the field that owns this one steal the compressor for HPA so they have to fill from tanks. Anyway a couple weeks ago one of my friends was filling his tank while he left it on his gun. When he was done he opened the dump like normal but there was a slight problem.....he forgot to close the fill valve so out came 2k psi from the dump, he thought it was gonna blow so he dropped his gun now hanging from the fill line and ran. I walked up shutoff the tank and preceded to laugh my a off.

One time our field ran out of co2 in its main tank, so thaey had to check if any of their spare tanks had anything in them. So theres a group of me and about 5 other guys waiting there as hes checking the tanks. One by one he opens up the valve with no fill hose attached. The tanks were all facing the same direction except for one. The guy opened the valve and what must have been at least the remaining 1500psi of c02 shot out at me from about 5 feet away. Luckiy, it was the side of my face and i didn't inhale enough to make me sick.

if you could get a nitro tank with a pin valve and use something to hold it down and let a bit of nitro out then light a match over it, it would be teh funnay

 Lol, yeah. The stuff doesn't burn:laugh:
This one really isn't a fill story one, but it involves the tank. When I play stock, the little 12-grams are exposed because of my setup. More than once I've fallen on a rock or whatnot and had the thing burst open and spray everything with liquid CO2:eek:

hey iv been scared by air before two stories first of all about 2 years ago i was filling my first compressed air tank so i opend then closed the dump to make sure like i was tought the i proceded start to fill real slow so as not to cram fill all of a sudden i forgot righty tighty lefty loosy so im siting there slowly aproching 3000 psi and i start to panick like i was freakin thank god this happend about mid day and the scuba tank didn't have enough in it to get pased 3000 but i was freaking.
another time i was coming home from walmart with one of my friends after he had filled his co2 tank and the pressure built up somhow and the burst disc went i don't know if you know what that is but its a little screw on the top side of the tank and when the presure is to much it breakes and releases all the co2 in the tank so that the tank doesent blow now imagine this racing down the road ya i almost s**t my pants and thats nothing compared to what his mom did she slamed on the breakes and told him to throw it out the window it was a while before she would let it back in.

One time i was getting my HPA tank filled at my field and the burst disk blew. The guy that was filling it and I jumped like 5 feet. It was funny, but then i had to pay $5 for a new burst disk. That wasn't funny. :pissed:

this doesnt have to do with what happened to my tank but:
but before I start, my hopper feedneck started to break, so I duct taped it
I gave my gun and tank to the people at the field to get it filled, so they held it at I would say a 60 degree angle. then suddenly my feedneck broke and the duct tape was the only thing holding it together. so I go outside after its filled and take the duct tape off and go back inside and say "hey, the feedneck to my revvy broke while you filled it." they're like "sorry dude" and they replaced the shell for $2
dont you love cheapness :twocents:
