I just got a Brand new BK2K LCD. I dont really know alot about the gun. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for upgrades. I think I am going to add a Ripper Frame, a Boomstick, and I want to add a different Regulator. Any suggestions? Anything else I should add to the gun?
Thanks

Those upgrades sound good. If you dont have Nitro you should get that and a Drop Foward is always good.

well i hope you have nitro, other wise that should be first. the ripper frames looks nice, i like them alot, not a bad price either. for the price of the boomstick you could get a big shot and a new LPR and that will give you MUCH better results. as far as regs, if you have the money to spend, go for a sidewinder, if you want a nice reg with out spending $100+ go for a gladiator, they are about $75 and are awesome regs. i would also consider getting a nice drop if you dont have one.
what all do you have you for it? i am hoping you at least have nitro and at least a 12v revvy, if not, those are essential.

First ESSENTIAL upgrades:
Nitrogen
Motorized Loader
Upgrade the barrel if you dont use medium bore paint, but try it first.. cause its not too bad
The LPR is fine in my opinion. You would of course have better consistancy with an aftermarket one but the stock one is pretty good, just annoying to adjust.
The HPR isn't too bad either, but again, annoying at times. Shoot your gun over a chronograph and look at your consistancy before you consider replacing the HPR. Many people get +\- 5 or less with the stock regulator, which IMO, is good enough NOT to replace.
Basically, on upgrades for a bushmaster you just have to play with your gun totally stock and see how you like it. If the trigger is too mushy for you, put in some plates on the side of it to tighten it up. Or change the springs if you want more tention. (BIC pens have many different springs w/ different tension in their pens)
Play with it stock. If its not accurate, look at a new barrel. If its not consistant, look into a new reg. (LPR should be ok) If you dont like the trigger, then get a new trigger that is wider or just put in some plates to make it 'cleaner'.
DF is preference. The bushmaster is a 3tube design so its quite tall, so maybe a big drop on a DF woudln't be the best choice. Just attach it with a rail and see how you like it. Pick a drop forward accordingly if it is uncomfortable.
New grip frames are nice. Ripper or Sonic. Many triggers though, so if you like the frame just not the trigger, buy a new trigger. (VAPOR has a nice trigger ..my favorite)
From most important to least important:
-N2
-Motorized Loader
-Modifiy trigger or buy new one
-new HPR if inconsistant (make sure it is well greased and worked in to see if its really inconsistant or just not tuned)
-ASA if needed to connect your reg (large volume ASAs WILL lower pressure.. usually by 20psi)
-DF if needed to make comfortable
-VAPOR or RED valve if you want to drop operating pressure
-new oring bolt (VAPOR bolt) if your having bad efficiency (make sure your LPR is adjusted right before deciding on your shots per tank)
-new LPR if you are sick of the stock one (will also operate your marker better.. but not THAT big of deal)
-New frame if you dont like the stock one
-New feedtube if your hoppers falling out of stock one (Sonic- has oring technology to secure hopper \ VAPOR- has window to decrease blowback up your feedtube and oring technology to secure hopper) <<lol thats stretching the upgrades :D
Did i miss anything to upgrade? LMK if i did

What about money for paint so you can play w/it? I mean a few upgrades yeah, but really, a new hopper adapter ain't gonna hang a flag, ya know?

yup yup. you will have more fun playing with it than getting upgrades and looking at it . . . playing will make you a better player. a few upgrades is good but dont pump all of your money into the gun.

Of course money for paint is ALWAYS more important than any upgrade :) Thats a given :D
Like i said, play w/ it stock and ugprade what you think needs improvement. Thats what upgrades are. Thats why they are sold seperate and not in big packages or come w/ the gun. Some players will want more than another.

Just below the barrel, in the front.

actually a new feed tube is pretty helpful w/ the new hoppers. i can smack the battery compartment on mine and it'll do a full circle. and it's come quite close to popping off when i slide into bunkers.
that should be use there in the top few if your hopper does fit right. it could be a big deal if your hopper flies off at the 25 and you're diving into the 50.

This is an easy fix though. You dont have to buy a whole new feedtube enless you maybe use different hoppers.
You can just take something and put it on the outside of your hopper neck to make it fit nice and snug. Or if its too large for teh feedtube, you can shave it down carefully.
CP also makes adapters that are like 4 bucks and look cool that will fix the looseness :D

ya i got one of those hopper adapters for free when i bought my gun (it was in the box, took me a while to figure out what the hell it was) but i dont need as i have the sonic low rise and it has a o-ring that secures the hopper.

you have a sonic LOW rise?? what made you get that over the highrise? do you get a lot of hopper hits or something?
how fast can you ric feed w/ a LOW rise? do you have any rof problems at all?
i like the sonic high rise, but if teh sonic low rise can feed you fine, then maybe i should try it too :)

actually it had the sonic low rise on it when i got it. i prefer a low rise anyway. i dont really have ROF problems until i really start just wailin on the trigger (like 12 bps) and even then the ric keeps up pretty well, it may skip a shot but thats about it, i can shoot very fast. the only time i had that probelm was in a big game and i was shooting at groups of people. under normal circumstances (normal speedball or woods games) i have no problems at all.
