OK here's the deal:
I was thinking of what to buy.... rt or egrip?? (considering i wanted to play only in tourneys)
A response trig helps u shoot faster and it's allowed on a field and in tourney play (unless u find the sweet spot that is not allowed).
And i'm pretty sure all of the e-grip functions, except semi, are not allowed in tourney play.
????????????
That leads me to my second question:
would the J&J .45 grip be worth to get since it already comes with the Rt in it?? or should i just install a regular Rt kit into my original a-5 grip?????

Don't buy either of them.
Learn to pull the trigger faster.
______________

Get a nice barrel.
Get anti-siphon installed on your tank.
Get a nice regulator.
Get a double trigger and do a little trigger job.
Get a drop if you want.
Get some paint and play.

It's up to you people. We can't make all of your decisions for you.

The J and J 45 Grip DOES NOT come with a R/T. It is R/T comptable. Meaning you can put your existing one, or buy one, and put it inside of it. Read people read.

E-grip all the way, but keep in mind you can only use semi. I'm a fan of the R/T because if you want speed and don't play tournies you can get a 15-16BPS stream in the sweetspot, while with the E-grip (which is also electro and requires batteries, I'm anti-electro in case you didn't know) you can probably get as fast as you can pull, the full-auto is capped at 11BPS.

Good luck with your decision.

on 888paintball.com it says R/T ready but i'm not exactly sure if it comes with it.
so R/T is only good for tourneys??? and for everything else e-grip is the way to go??

If you dont already have the A-5 and you want it to go fast... get the reaction trigger. It is the cheapest way to get full-auto on this gun.

If you play paintball at a actual field and use full auto you are a tool. If you wanna just terrorize your friends its one thing, but if some guy used full auto on a field where I was playing against or for I'd definitely get on his case and maybe put a few extra shots into him when I eliminated him.

Kids with electro spyders vs my tippy = their walking to the deadbox.

dm4 + shocker vs my tippy = I got shot in the head.

Both of which are rewarding.

I have tried both and find the e grip far better overall. It gives a liter trigger pull cuz you're not fighting springs and stuff, it is tourney legal, and w/ the RT they more than likley won't let you play be cuz there is no way for the field owner to insure you won't find a sweetspot durring play so in general they don't allow them. But the e grip is nice for rec ball too cuz you do have the option for fullauto and you don't have to worry about lose of fullauto due to shootdown w/ an e grip like you would w/ the RT. As for speed of the fullauto shop around the GTA is capped @ 11 BPS but there are some others out there that will push the cyclone feed to the max. So that's my take on it. :D

NO R/T is illegal for tourneys.

RT ready means that is accepts the RT upgrade. Doesnt mean that it comes w/ the RT. Id say egrip.

E-Grip is nice but, u can only use semi. I think the e-grip lightens the trigger pull but thats just me. I went to my local field with my brand new E-Grip (first time use) I was using auto-response and they said I could not use that setting. Then I went from  to :mad2: to :pissed: to :gnasher: and then :censored: now i have to get a RT. Just go with the RT. :|

??? Auto Response is the same as RT ???
