Has anybody shorten the R/T Flow Control Line?

Mine came a bit too long. It should be okay, but for aesthetics, I kinda want it shorter. Has anybody shorten it successfully?

I believe that is just good old fashioned micro line, a good snip with some sharp scissors, or an X-acto knife and you'll get the desired effect.
