i need to no whether to keep my spyder (in sig) which i really like and i got it set up to be really accurate

i need to no whether to keep it, or get an vision impulse (b4 u say search this is different so dont flame me) but if i got the impulse i would havta get a new back and front for my freak kit (which would be about another $100) and a new drop ($30 or so) which would cost around $630 which is in my price range but im not so sure i wanna spend that much for a paintball gun considering im 14 and it would be spending ALL the money i've ever saved up

so i need to no if an impulse is really worth it

Between those def. get the imp. I would also suggest you look into a BKO or a B2k4 pds. BKO will be cheap and milled they look nice.

I'd go for a Bushmaster 2k4 w/ PDS. Don't worry about looking like a rich noob, you've been playing for two years, and it's a Bushmaster, not an Angel. As long as you can own them, they wont call you a noob.

thats about the same price as an impulse vision but with bushmasters u havta upgrade the regulator right away so u would spend more money overall

ive played for two years and i had money saved up and in march i got my impulse.
Blue 2004 impulse with vert reg
Progressive it comes with a progressive which is a really good barrel and you should spend that money you were gonna spend for your freak to upgrade your impulse
It comes with stickey grips and the max flo reg which is veryeasy to adjust. The impulse was definitly worth it you will love it compared to your spyder. You could upgrade it to be just as good as any other of the touranment level guns that cost 1000 dollers. Dont get the sp vision go to wickedairsportz.com and order a was bored from there. They are one off the best vison boreds out there and has no cap. And it is tourney legal;) . With that 100 you save not getting the freak i would get a
Equalizer bolt which is a derlin bolt
Tape worm
Magno blade trigger, you would definitly rip if you get one of those. Just come to the smartparts forums and they will tell you everything you need to know.

If you really love paintball you will spend that much on a gun ;)

I don't thik you should spend your life savings on a paintball gun. Get a new gun when you get a job or get one for Christmas or your birthday.

You should always have some money and it would not be good if you had $0 in the bank. Something might come up.

o yea to hyperballin i already have the freak kit i ment 100 for a new back to fit an impulse and a new front to match the gun

If your remotely serious about paintball then you will probably want a better gun. I completely forgot about WAS. Impy and WAS sac really rip. Also a Rat jnr is an exelent impy for about $500. Also dont worry about the rich newb thing. At 2 yrs any gun would be good as long as you got the skills to back it up.

im not like THAT serious, and i dont really play in tournaments except for maybe one or two, but i mainly play in backyards and every now and then i play speedball at the field in our town

maybe a bko would do i guess...

Without milling, or the type of bolt, or type of hammer assembly, or solenoid, or many of the other internals inside the gun, but yeah, besides that, exact same gun :rolleyes:

Also, the 04 regs aren't horrible.

I wouldn't say you need to upgrade them "right away".

I get something like +/-5fps with my stock KO if I remember correctly. Which isn't half bad for what your paying.

Yeah, I think an Imp w/ Vision would be more likely to be seen as a "rich snob" then a BKO.

If you want the BKO then get it. If you think your Spyder is good enough then keep it.

Have you honestly been on the field and said to yourself "This gun isn't performing good enough for me, I need something better."

If you have get the BKO.

i think my gun is great shoots really accurate and it nevere breaks down on me but i've never tried a bko out and i wouldn't no if theres enuff difference between the two to make me wanna get one

You don't need another freak barrel there are better ones under that price range: ultralight, lapco, J&J. The stock barrel is actually really nice so you might want to hold on the barrel. You don't need a drop forward it already has an ASA mounted on the frame. Have you looked at other Impulses? Like the Rat Jr, Blind Impulse College pack 2 besides just the vision impulse. If you sell your spyder with everything on it you will have enough for a nice nitro tank. Keep in mind that you don't necessary need vision. Have you ever out shot your spyder? I say just go for another Impulse like the College pack 2 because it comes with an LPR which is excellent and something you are going to need. And with WAS boards being so cheap nowadays, I think they are under $175. I say go for a Rat Jr or the College Pack 2, then later on buy a WAS board. And whoever said you will look like a rich noob you are an idiot, he has worked for his money he should be proud of his gun seeing that he bought it himself if anything he will look like a better player.

You can get a Nasty Impulse at www.paintballwholesalers.com . It comes with a delrin bolt, LPR, Pipe Kit, etc. Plus it looks nice. It's a great deal.
