I read reviews on Psycho Ballistics Gas Through Grips, and they sound good for my 98C. I was just wondering, what will I have to do to install this? I mean get a vertical adapter, or pretty much get someone at a pro shop to install it. Thanks for input.

It's just like putting on an X-Chamber or Male Reg, only it doesn't do anything. Which brings us to the question, why are you going to spend money and add weight to the gun with stuff that has no function?

We sshould have some decent directions for installation of the vert adapter and X-chamber etc. in the Ultimate Sticky, even if we don't you should read it anyway.

Installing the VA isn't very hard. But getting a gas thru for a 98c is a waste of money, time, effort and it will add more weight.

Do anti-siphon first, it'll save you weight.

Anti Siphon would be the cheaper, easier, more logical way to go.

$20-40?!? you are getting ripped. It's only $15 at our store, mostly b/c their minimum labor charge is $10. Usually an A/S line will cost $10-20 rarely ANY more than that.

If they want to gouge you ask them if it would cost the same amount if you bought the hardware elsewhere and they just installed it.
