My shutter is awsome. Just upgrade the barrel and get a spring kit and you'll have a good gun.

yeah i have a red shutter and i love it!!! i just put on a ss lapco autospirit, lightened the trigger and threw on a revy and now it's great! i have had no probs w/ this gun unless i forget to turn on the hopper, and overall it's a great gun for a first gun or someone wanting to upgrade to a better gun but doesn't want to pay a lot. good looking too!

Brazen, that post was OT, and a flame. He did not ask what you thought about kingman.
This is a warning. I will delete any flames.

I have a blue shutter. So far I only used it in the winter. I upgraded the barrel and i'm waiting to recieve dye sticky grips and a sight. So far its alright(winter playing). Once paintballs broke in the barrel they keep on breaking and paintball oozes out of the holes. Didn't play with the Bigshot yet but shot it and it is awesome. I can't wait till summer to see what it can accually do.

Go for the boomer cause its got the nicest interior which gives the accuracy but if you ask me save you money and get a freak barrel system or wait for one of those new Zero gravity barrel sets they shoot nice but haven't really been shown to the public but was at the Zap tournament I mean it shot nicer than a freak but needs more inserts...

Honestly the Spyder Shutter is a real nice looking gun, well to me at least. I have it in blue, and i love the chrome as well. I didn't care too much for barrels untill i saw the aftermarket ones, then you realize how cheap the stock barrels are. With a sight mounted on the Shutter it can be quite accurate and it's fun for some target shooting. I personally have chopped a few balls the second time i shot it. For some reason everytime i shoot, i see a mist coming out of my barrel....i don't know if it is normal. My brother's shutter on the other hand didn't chop a ball yet. I wasn't going crazy with the trigger either...i was shooting one at a time. So i don't know, Maybe it's my barrel but then again no two markers are exactly the same, and i was using ZAP paintballs and it was rainy that day, overall i like the gun alot and along with the DYE sticky it looks real nice. Overall i am happy...the extra money was worth it to me for the looks....

cp, jj 2piece (small bore only, .685), or bigshot (if you can find one). the jj 2 piece is AWESOME if you shoot small bore paint. if not get a cp or a bigshot if you can find it. you can get a boomstick but you will only be wasting your money.:paranoid:

rebels22...sounds like you are getting some liquid co2 ...thats why the mist....try using a remote...or get and anti siphen tube for you tank....
try adjusting your regulator down a bit...and your velocity adjuster up...see if that helps....
also...I love my shutter.....mine is far from stock at this point....but it was and still is a great marker....I have no plans at the moment of getting rid of it...

I have a blue shutter with a JJ ceramic and I haven't chopped a single ball, not even firing as fast as I could pull the trigger. I use a 9v revvy on it, and am looking to go nitro with a 68 stub if I can find one for 100 bucks. I love mine and it looks oh so sexy. I've heard many complaints about regs and gauges busting, but mine have held up so far. Did you guys notice the blue has different anodization tones? I know someone with a sky blue Shutter that looks pretty cool, while mine is dark blue and matches the color of my car. I like the dark blue better personally, but that sky blue makes it look like a 2002 Angel I saw pics of on here recently. My spring kit is in the mail and I'm probably going to get a tornado valve sometime unless someone can reccomend a different one to me.
