New trigger mod, i cant decide if this is good or bad

I was messing around with the trigger of my spyder classic, and i think i may have found an easy trigger mod to do. I unscrewed the the two screws that attach the trigger frame and the main body of the gun, then put a small piece of paper above the trigger. The paper was about 3/4 of an inch long and 1/8 of an inch wide; i also had folded it a few times to give it some volume. i screwed the two parts of the gun back together. Now when when i switch on my safty, not only has my trigger been shortend to 5mm, it fires when the safty is on! Im not sure if it will work with co2 or n2, becuase i dont have any right now.

been there done that, except i used epoxy ;)..check out my trigger job thread (requested trigger job ifo not secret trigger mod)for a really kick butt spyder trigger job. THen go to the secret trigger mod thread for a really really good addon.

Is the safty supposed to get messed up when you do your mods?

yeah..my safety doesn't work any more cuz the trigger pull is so short..
