Does the type of tank (inexpensive screw-in or expensive adjustable) you use on an impy make a big difference?

Depends But off the top of my head I say No! What are you looking at?

right now, i'm using a Crossfire screw-in. it works well with my cocker, but i expect more firepower with the imp.

I don't reccomend using a crossfire on an Impulse. They do not have enough flow to keep up with the Impulse. It may work alright for you for a while, but to get the best performance try to get a hyperflow or a Pure Energy!!

Wease is right! Some fixed regs don't deliver all that they should, I too think Hyperflow is a good choice! I run all my markers off a double reg's, Armageddons on the tanks and verticals on the markers.

Crossfire tanks are very high flow. aren't they?
