Today I got my new APG magazine and instantly started reading it cover to cover. When I got to the very last letter of the mag I noticed some incoherent rambling about golf being better than paintball. OMG!!!! The points made are the stupidest I've ever heard. First point they made "!\1) Golf requires reading the green for a putt, judging distances and factoring how much the wind will affect your shot. Also, you meet and talk to people and make friends. How does shooting someone encourage positive thinking?" Now, let me reply. In paintball, don't we read the field for a shot? Don't we judge distances (paintballs only go so far), don't we factor wind, being as paintballs fly around easily? Last, don't we make friends? Now, positive thinking..... hmmmmm. When's the last time you coordinated your golf shot to go around the tree, hide, bunker someone, and flank the little plastic cup in the ground. Huh? Huh? Huh?
Another point made in the article, cost. While it may be true that paintball costs more, how many golf games do you play in a day......1....2? How many paintball games.....10...10+? My point exactly.
Lastly, another point made. "Come on, do you really think that women are a match for the men?" WTF!!!! Although men are physically stronger than women, how much strength does it take to pull a trigger a few millimeters?
Thank you for listening to my ramblings, and I hope to God that this letter was merely a joke.
