this is a messed up story. I was playing on Saturday and I got hit about 20 FT away and the paintball hit my 12 volt revvy hopper. Well, the next thing I know the paintball went threw 1 side and left a little dent on the other. I had about 150 paintballs in the hopper and many of them blew up. I'm pissed because I have to buy a new one. I was ready to get the kids gun cronoed because it must of been shooting hot to go through the hopper. i told the ref but the kid left after that game. the thing I was wondering about is maybe he shot a frozen paintball at me.:pissed: :mad: I'm just glad I didn't get hit by that.

I'm assumming that you had the clear hoppers. That tends to happens to them, they are made of cheap plastics that breaks easily. If want to buy a new hopper, wait for the new shells comes out from brassealge. They are suppose to be stronger than the old ones.

no it was a regular old black hopper. now i think he shot a frozen paintball at me. i dont think a paintball can penetrate almost both sides of the hopper.

i had my cocker crono'd at 290 and i put a hole through both side of one of those big plastic tub things that like you see people put basketballs and stuff in

where the F*** were you playing?! get the field to ban the kid if he was shooting frozen paintballs at you. i know someobody who was doing that and he hit the ref, and he got banned for 3 years. ******* should have been doing it the first place.

i was like 10 feet away. it waas only like 30 Degrees out and the paint was frozen. i turned down my velocity until it wasnt going through. i had to put it down to like 190. i had no range but i didnt want anybody to get hurt

ya your right, that is the stuff that gives paintball a bad name. what if that went through someones mask and injured them? but the worst things are when people go around and shoot at houses and things.

i see alot of street signs all shot up. then people think that paintballers only shoot up houses and street signs

yeah, this happened to my friend this weekend. The paintball went through one side and went out the other side and kept going. The front side has a paintball sized hole in it and the other has a huge hole. I know the paint wasnt frozen cause he got it from me..... and he was like 20 feet away. so i guess maybe the kid who shot yours didnt freeze his paint..... still an *** for bailing

i also hate when newbies come in have the velocity cranked up to 400 and go blazing away. i swear i got nailed at least 4 times by the same guy after i got up, put the gun over my head and walked off the field. and he didn't even get me out.

Alright. You have no reason to assume that they guy was shooting hot. Brass Eagle Viewloader 12v revvies are well known for shattering when shot >by a regular powered shot!<

This has happened many times, BE used utter crap plastic, and your hopper broke because of that. If that kid was shooting frozen paint, then you were the >only< person or thing he hit, because you'd better believe somebody would have noticed getting hit with one! Or heard the sound of frozen paint hitting cover THAT hard. So don't assume he was overspeed, or freezing balls, or putting nailpolish on them just because your hopper broke, they break all the time!

That happened to me before I got my Ricochet 2K they use good plastic not cheap plastic like Brass Eagle.:sleep:

That happend to me before I got my revy. I used a regular VL200 and my friend shot a hole in it and broke all the paint inside.
