The freak set is probably the best barrel I have ever used.

I havnt seen the new equation with tefklon coated inserts, but the freak I saw didnt impress me.

lets see... i have a freak (for sale), equation ms (only two inserts .693 & .691), dye 12" .689 boomy (for sale), jt 12" two-piece .690.... out of all of them i really like the jt and equation ms. the freak, is alright but I would never use four or five of the inserts because its just a waste. it shoots accurate to me, just like my other barrels. the equation just has more flexibility like i.e. adapter + muzzle = 6.25 inch barrel, great for hyperball field, add extension, great for sup' air field. Its just more flexible, so many options can be ordered for your customized barrel or barrel set. while the freak you can choose different back, color tip, and length of tip. while the equation 2 styles of back in many different colors, 6 different bore sizes, 3 styles of extensions in different colors, 4-5 styles of muzzles in different colors. if you get 2 inserts, 1 adapter, 1 extension, 1 muzzle, like me, you have 4 barrels in one: 2 short tip, 2 long tip.
