WAS question

what does WAS actualy do, i mean i know it is sweet cause i ordered mine, and i know about the eye system and the settings and stuff, but does it just make your guns ROF faster or does it make i easier to fire even faster

just wonderin

because i have waiting for a while for mine to come and im just tryin to imagine it!

First of all its the EQUALIZER board not WAS, thats just who makes it. it makes your ROF faster and it has the best eye system out there meaning you won't chop paint with the eye on. also the eye can see any type of paint colour out there so you can even use dark paint

this board has a higher solinoid voltage which gets rid of FSDO and helps with shootdown. it has tons of features, like different vision eye modes, dwell, eye sensitivity, ROF, debounce, BIP delay, and you can also get new updated software with teh equalink

lol if you cant get your old board out you have some problems. my problem was that the wiring harness pulled out of the plug tha plugs into the board and i have to get it fixed before i can use my gun again :( im so upset :cry:

If I get a WAS board (j/k)..... will i still need a tapewerm, because doesn't the Equalizer board cure FSDO and all the other stuff that the tapewerm is supposed to fix? But soon after I get my imp I'm also going to buy an lpr, so I would have to get rid of the tapewerm then...........

i am not sure if i removes FSDO i now it is supposed to but i am not sure if that is with a LPR or tame worm
the tape worm alsoe removes "bolt stick" as well as FSDO
and last but not least when u git the LPR it will remove the tape worm u will need a diffrent style a tape worm for the LPR! i think that is all right i guess well now when toothpastedog or some other smart one postes! heheh:D

Ok now, the equalizer board can help to eliminate solenoid based fsdo. If it is caused by the hammer assembly it may not help. You need to fix the ram shaft.

Tapeworms do nothing for fsdo. They are a flow restrictor that keeps the valve from pulling the air out of the solenoid tube just when it need the pressure to push the hammer back. If your fsdo goes away when you install a tapeworm it is purely coincidence. Your fsdo will probably come back in the future. It was designed to stop bolt stick and nothing else. If you want to stop fsdo this isn't a good choice.

Lprs can help to lessen fsdo. By maintaining a seperate air to the solenoid tube the valve cannot pull air from it. This cures bolt stick. The better supply seems to help with fsdo but it isn't a cure.

The tapeworm used with a lpr isn't a tape worm at all. It is a special lpr nipple. It is similar in design to a tapeworm in how it seals the transfer port off with o-rings.
