I installed the vertical adapter in my gun about a week ago everything was fine when i gased it up the 1st day. Now I go to gas it up a week later and the darn thing is leaking. How in the hell can I get the vertical adapter off with the locktite on it? What is the best thing for me to do?:pissed:

First make sure that the adapter is the problem. You might actually have a crack in the power tube. Either way you will have to remove the power tube. Take out the power tube and vertical adapter by removing the two screws on the right reciever half. Now you must remove loctite. The best way to do this is to heat it up. Take a hairdryer and put it by the threads. Heat it up for about 5-10 minutes. Now take the 7/32 wrench and put it on the elbow and slowly but powerfully turn it two the left. This should get it loose.

loctite is a pain it is too much trouble evveryone uses it for some odd reason you should use teflon tape or loc tite PST
with those you can gas your gun up immediatly and check for leaks
loct tite isnt for sealing threads anyway it is for holidng nuts and screws so they dont come loose due to vibrations

The reason that people use loc-tite to teflon is because teflon can get into the internal workings of the marker. And if you think that the loc-tite is to hard to work with then gt the blue stuff. It is a medium hold loc-tite and is a little easyer to work with and get off if you need to change something.
