Okay so im looking for a new gun. I was looking at the 04 bko and the b2k4 w/ pds. Now i was wondering is it worth saving up for the b2k4 than getting a bko and eventulally get pds? If anyone has the b2k4 w/ PDS can you please guve me your word on it. I have read the reviews but there are few with the b2k4. Is this a good gun for tournies? Also does the b2k4 come with a low or no rise? If so do i need to sand my eggy? Is it worth getting a feed neck when i purchase the gun? If so which fered neck out of the cp quick disconnect or the A +? Sorry for all of the questions, bt it is just a large investment and i want to be shure i get what i pay for. Thank you very much in advance.:D :D

Okay to start off, the B2k4 with PDS is a lot better then a BKO. Even if you do not get a b2k4 with PDS, it will save you money if you get PDS down the road. PDS on Bushmasters cost 100$ and PSD on BKOs cost 165$. The b2k4 is faster then the BKO. The B2k4 comes with a low rise, but you may have to sand down your feedneck. I would see if your egg feedneck fits before you go out buying one. If it does not fit, definitly get a clamping feedneck. A clamping feedneck is great because you do not need to sand or tape your feedneck, and if you decide to get another hopper down the rode, you will not need to sand or tape that hopper. The two best clamping feednecks out there, IMO, are the CCM and the Check it products. Hope this answers your questions, and feel free to ask others.

I just read the thread about the "what gun" and some guy said that the b2k4 is a gas hog cuz it uses an air returned ram or something like that. Please clarify this because i dont wanna spend over 500 dollars on a gass hog.

He is correct by saying that the Ram needs to be returned by air, but it is not an air hog. The ram being returned by air gives you no more than 15 shots less then the BKO's spring returned ram. You will get enough shots, and you can get a vapor valve or other aftermarket valve to increase how many shots you get.

is it worth upgrading the valve and are they easy to unistall/install?

Yes, a new valve is a very good upgrade for a b2k4. It is fairly easy to take one out, click here (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=218658) for instructions.

That guy was a retard. Your gun wont be a gas hog, unless your comparing it to like Vikings and Trixes with bolt kits. It'll be pretty good for most people, expecially with a new valve. Just do what JB says.

Yeah that guy was retarded. Notice how we tore him a new one. :D He thought that because B2K4's use air to recock, they use twice as much air as the BKO! *******!
Ok. Thats out of my system. with properly set up regs you should get average efficiency out of a Bushmaster. With a new valve, you can increase efficiency by as much as 25fps. Thats pretty damn good for a $36 upgrade. They are very easy to install.
JB, isn't it $120 to get PDS installed on B2K4's? You said it was $100. Anyway it is a worthwhile upgrade, but if you can afford to spend the money up front, then buy a B2K4 PDS.
The stock low-rise should be sufficient as long as it fits your hopper. If it doesn't, then a clamping or QD feedneck would be a good investment.

I was thinking $120 for B2K's, $165 for BKO's. But thats not including shipping.

hahaha Yoda got something wrong!:D
Ok. So B2K's are $120 w/o shipping, BKO's are $160 w/o shipping. If you want to add in the cost of shipping, add like $5.
Do we all agree?

ok also do the b2k4s come with a guage
? I mean if you paying that much you think they could put a guage on it but a micro guage, not a huge guage like the older bushmasters.

ima post in this thread instead of making a new one k? Well mi ALSO getting a b2k4 w/pds soon, and i was wondering how light they are, if ill chop ever w/ an empire reloader, and if i should put my BL torpedo on it, or keep the stock reg on.
Im a front player so weight DOES matter a lot for me, and no im not getting an egg/halo b. (too heavy fo my puny 13 yr old front player arms.)

Haha. You could carry a heavy set up, you just don't want to. I see all these 11-12 (no exaggeration, my local field=pre-teen paradise) year olds who can out shoot/out skill me with the IR3s, E-matrices and ECX Timmies (some 12 year old has one ~_~) that daddy bought them, with like huge tanks and Halos, and they don't complain. I hope to see some kids rocking the Freestyle. Just because you can't say,"OOH, AHH! I OWN AN ANGEL" doesn't mean it isn't good. ;)

Art Man, you are the worst "Topic Poster" that I ever have seen in the history of PBR. You always go off on tangents and non related stories to a particular topic. :P

With a 2k4 w/ PDS it does not matter what hopper you have, you will not chop. If you want to rip harder then I suggest a new hoper, but you won't have to worry about chopping with PDS. The BL torpedo is a decent HPR to run, but it seems like everyone likes the Sidewinder, CP, or Glad, and now the 2 Liter.
