A friend of mine was talking about BKO's and how cool they are.
Im getting a new gun this summer and at first and right now im thinking about the dragunfly mechanical. But i really dont know much about cockers and how to tweak them. im now a little interested in the BKO.

-Is the BKO electro?
-Do i need Nitro for a BKO?

1)Yes
2)Its better, but for the proper setup to run a BKO on co2, please refer to the Sticky at the top of the page.

Just make sure that if you run CO2 you have an A/S tank and at least a female stab. But its also good to add a male stab for better performance and to protect your gun even more. But only do all of that if you can't get HPA fills at your local field. If the field you play at has HPA, then get a HPA tank. Most ppl who run CO2 only do it cuz they dont have access to HPA in their area.

Yes, it doesnt have any other modes unless you get an aftermarket board.

Good choice. Read up on the stickies and you should be fine.

BKO's are great markers, well worth the cost for what you get out of it. A true pneumatic marker instead of a blowback like the dragunfly. They are extremely easy to troubleshoot and fix and you have a great community of people here in this forum that are always willing to help. BKO's with a few upgrades can be made as consistant as you want as well, I and others with upgrades have gotten our markers to +-1 over the cronograph. Everybody covered the Nitro/CO2 question for you but I pose a question to you? What hopper do you have? If you are running a revvy at the time make sure you make your trigger pull a bit long to slow down your rate of fire otherwise the BKO is just way to easy to rip on and can lead to chopping, then down the line upgrade to a Halo B or Egg with Z board.

Will it need Adjusting right out of the box when i get it..or can i get an electric hopper and a nitro tank and the gun and be ready to go?

Some of my questions are retarded but what ever..

Is the grip sealed so its like water proof?
Does it come with a wall charger?
Does it have a really short trigger pull?

Grip frame is not water tight. Just the grips you choose up against the aluminum frame.

No wall charger. Takes 9volts.

Yes, you can make the trigger very short. Its 3 way adjustable, one of the most adjustable on the market i beleive.

You will have to adjust the regs before you can rip on a BKO, it really isn't hard at all.
The grip is sealed so its like water proof but I would not suggesting jumping in a lake with it.
It does not come with a wall charger, you have to use 9v batteries that cannot be recharged.
You can make the trigger pull as long or short as you want. You can even get a lighter microswitch to make your pull ligther.

The fact that it uses 9 volts is actually better, IMO, than having a rechargeable. You can just carry a spare 9 volt in your bag when you play. So if you run out of power on your battery, you can just swap it out wth a new one in about 2 minutes instead of having to recharge it. Also, you get like 40,000 shots off one 9 volt. I have had my B2K3 for like 7 months and I still havent changed the battery, despite how much I dryfire it.

You will need to adjust your regs. When I got my B2K3, it leaked from the solenoid right out of the box because the LPR was turned up too high. For help adjusting your regs, check out the FAQ and www.icdownersgroup.com

Defniately get a fast hopper. Also, the trigger frame is fully adjustable. You can adjust pivot point (3 settings), spring tension, pull length, and where the microswitch activates. This is all externally adjustable. It's the most adjustable frame you can get, I have never seen one that is as good (not including magnetic frames).

Not all BKO's need to be tweaked out of the box though. When i got mine i just attached air to it and it shot fine. :)

Yep, it depends. Many guns just need minor tweaking. But I have seen quite a few ppl complain because their gun leaked right out of the box, so it's good to be prepared.
