It's a nice barrel, but i'd either save some money and get a CP 1 piece or spend some more and get a Dye ultralite.

I'm With Hybrid, It's an alright barrel but if you break a ball it can be a pain to clean out and near impossible to shoot through.

I have a new Teardrop on my Spyder...although it is a great barrel I should have saved my money for a PowerLite Scepter 7 piece barrel kit but I ask myself if I did get a barrel kit why a barrel kit for a blowback?

It's an awsome barrel, I have it on my Tippmann 98C. I was out shooting a bees nest from like 75 yards away and pretty much every shot landed. But if a ball breaks (I have never had that happen and i use some pretty sh***ty paint) its a doosie to shoot through. If you want something cheap that will defiatly do the trick...buy it! if you wanna spend a little more...I would suggest the J&J Ceramic

There both great barrels for the price...comes down to looks and brand name...I like Smart Parts but J & J and all barrels have pros and cons...can't go wrong with either.

I've actually never had a ball break yet *knocks on wood* its not a very paint sensitive barrel, i've shot everything from i-balls to chronic through it and its shot all no problem.
The porting is a ***** to clean out though, and shooting through is just A LOT of corkscrewing and no accuracy (forgot to take barrel plug out and took a shot, and i didn't have a squegee, my fault i know)

Do u think a Smart Parts Tear drop barrel will work good on a spyder TL-X with a Apache hopper.

dude a tear drop on an angel will be just as accurate as on a spyder. it will work and why do u have an apache on a tlx

A teardrop on an angel seems like a worthless investment, the stock barrel, i think its called the odyssey is one of the better stock barrels out there.
Maybe he has an apache because he's planning for the future

i thought the stock was the infinity but maybe theres more. what i meant is a barrel wont be different on diff guns. a tear drop wont be inaccurate on an omen but accurate on an impy.

As for a place to buy one, www.criticalpaintball.com is a good choice.
