Im getting a 2000 cocker real soon, and I would like to upgrade the front Pnue. I seen where you can buy the whole A.N.S kit together which is very convienient and looks pretty good, but I had not heard very good things about the A.N.S front ends. Can you get like diff. pieces from diff. companies and piece it all together. Like a Palmers reg, and a Kapp 3-way, and a Kapp ram, or something like that?

Yes. Most people buy the parts they want and put them all together.

the only thing the pneumatics is going to do is make it look better(besides the 3way which is second best to the shocktech). Spend it on something that will make your gun better.
i am doing the exact same thing you are right now, trying to decide what to do about the front pneumatics.
what i think im gonna do is order the palmers front block package that is the reg, ram, and 3way, and mount them on my front block, and later upgrade the screw to a low pressure resivoir

Are you smoking crack there July? :)
New pneus will do a lot for performance.
3-ways especially, like you said.
New front regs do a hella lot for performance also. You can read some of my old post for more info on pneumatics.

Whats it going to do? make your gun cock faster and your pressure adjustable? Unless you can shoot like 40 balls a second or something its not going to make a difference. You can shoot faster than your cocker can cycle especially on the 2000s. The only 3way i think is better is the shocktech and its only better by a fraction of an inch. The sto 3ways are great and my second choice. Maybe on really old cockers they need to be changed but certainly not on the 2000s.
Even if they did make that much of a difference lets compare them to other parts-
pnuematics- i dont know you tell me. cycles faster even though you cant out shoot it before. Adjustable pressure and lower cocking pressure which wont happen unless you have a light hammer spring.
bolt- lower pressure=less ball breaks, some say more accuracy, quick pull. The stock isnt bad at all however.
45 frame-10 times better trigger pull, more comfortable, older styles make it much shorter.
Valve-lower pressure which makes a better trigger pull and fewer ball breaks
Theres other basic accessories like drop forwards, nitro, revs etc, that would show more improvement than changing the pneumatics.

Read my post.
I never said it was better than other upgrades. Of coarse a 45 frame, and ect. will do more than a ram or front reg. But that does not mean a ram and reg are usless. Have you ever seen the differense between a gun with a stock reg and say a palmers? It does make a diferense it not only is smoother but feels a lot softer. For a custom gun a front reg is very important.

I have owned a rock, rhino and sledge hammer and they perform exactly the same. The only thing that might make it smoother is the change of pressure but other than that theres no difference. The new sto rams I wouldnt even upgrade unless I wanted to a different color.
Iff you just change the front pneumatics there will be no difference. The 3way wont even make a difference because your still pulling the same distance.

I have owned a rock, rhino and sledge hammer and they perform exactly the same. The only thing that might make it smoother is the change of pressure but other than that theres no difference. If you were to get a twister kit for the sledgehammer or adjusted it the hard way it would fell the same as everyother one. The sto rams I wouldnt even upgrade unless I wanted to a different color.
If you just change the front pneumatics on a stock 2000 there will be no difference. The 3way wont even make a difference because your still pulling the same distance.
The only thing they would he improve is adjustable pressure, a better trigger pull only if you get the shocktech 3way and have a trigger stop, a quicker ram and looks. However once you have your pressure set you dont need to mess with it(palmers even says the knob isnt neccessary), if you go as short as the sto 3ways can go you will have reliability problems and if you go shorter than that its a nightmare unless your going to constantly mess with your timing, and you cant shoot faster than your ram anyways so why get a faster one? An externally adjustable reg is good for convenience so i would consider get one after I upgraded everything else but I wouldnt change the ram or 3way. This is if i didnt care how it looked only on performance, in real life i would change them to have a pretiier set.
