barrel to paint

i'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but here goes. i just got the freak barrel system for my shocker, and i wanted to know, what is a good way of telling if i matched up the right sized insert with my paint (any tips or hints)? thanks for the help! :blah:

do the tried and true blow test.
put the ball in the insert and if it rolls out it is too small, if it gets stuck blow into it. If you can't blow it out fairly easily then it is too big. It is right when it gets stuck and can be blown out fairly easily.
