Sounds like you got it plugged in wrong.
Switch it around.

Hey, sorry to hijack your thread, but I have a quick question about the led.
Is the led supposed to turn off when I pull the trigger, and turn on when I release it, or vice versa?

Temple Monk, the Chaos Board makes the LED blink much more quickly than the stock board does. When I first installed my Chaos I could barely see it blink when I fired the gun. Turn off the lights in your room and fire your gun. It will be easier to see it blink that way. Sometimes it is hard to see the stock green LED blink unless you are in a dark room. I installed a blue LED and it is much easier to tell now. If you try these things and it still doesnt blink, I doubt your shop would know enough about Chaos Boards to fix it. Best bet would be to email Vaporworks and ask Goldie about it. Also, make sure he LED blinks when you try to change the Chaos settings.
Tipp98, the LED blinks off when you pull the trigger and activate the microswitch. Then it blinks back on again after a certain amount of time. When it blinks back on has nothing to do with releasing the trigger, it just turns on after like 0.25 seconds or something. To see this, pull your trigger and hold it back. The LED will turn off when you pull the trigger, and then turn back on again even though you are still holding the trigger back.

Ehh.... No matter how long I hold it down, it doesn't turn back on... Maybe this is a feature only on the 2k4 models (I have a 2k3)?

No, it should turn back on on all models. Are all your wires plugged in correctly?

I think they're all plugged in correctly (I'm still fairly new to BKO's, and I don't have a manual). On the board though, it looks like one of the pins at the top is broken off, and it looks like it's stuck in the plug. Is it supposed to be like that? Someone told me it was *coughgomstercough*.:P

His and his brothers. And yes, gomster is correct, one of the pins is not there.

yep Gomster's correct about the whole missing pin thing. It's supposed to be like that.
As for the LED, I have a B2K3 and it works exactly how I described. I'm not sure why yours is different. If the gun works fine otherwise, then dont worry about it. The LED is doing its job in showing when the gun is firing whether it is working my way or yours. Anyway, kinda OT, but I recommend doing the LED mod. Put a new one in. It looks awesome, and if you get a powerful one then you can use it to blind your opponents. :D Next time they'll wear these  .

Maybe it just goes off on chaos board. Mine stays on as long as I hold the trigger down. Or maybe it's a b2k/BKO difference.

Oh, you want some of this? Huh? Huh? Bring it, punk. Yeah that's what I thought, woman. :P
I think what Kowz said is right, it might just be a difference between B2K's and BKO's. Or maybe it's just the chaos board... Oh well, just as long as mine shoots, I'm ok.

I was thinking about doing that actually. Either a red one to match my gun, or a really, really, bright white one. That'd just be awesome. But my n00b friend who thinks he's a sniper would be like "OH MY GAWD!1!!!!1!1 THEY ARE TEH GOING TO SEE YOU IN TEH WOODZ!1!!!1!!" But I don't woodsball so I don't care...

Yeah, get a white one, they're bright as hell. My friend has one on his BKO and it nearly blinded the guys at the proshop.

Umm...there's no like universal size for an LED. I guess any LED with appropriate (open up your frame and find out what it looks like) connection and power, as well as size should work. But don't like blame me if it doesn't.

The correct LED size is 5mm. Any voltage or whatever will work.

Sorry for this dumb question but you need PDS to have the LED, right

no on the markers there is 1 LED for on/off and then if you have PDS there is another LED for on/off

When did bushies start to have LED for the on/off? Would it be possible to add it on an older bushy?
Sorry for all the questions

There is only one led for both the on/off for the gun and the on/off for PDS.
