I'm planning on geting a LAPCO, i hear they are extremely consistant, one ball over another. (an openbolt can only have so much accuracy)

Or i'll get those new Speedline barrels. they look sweet and the look like they will function well. Note the porting starts about 3 to 4 inches before the tip, allowing the ball to accelerate long enough without venting the gas that is pushing the ball prematurely. I havent shot one of these but im already sold.

How bout the Javlin? I hear thats ok for low pressure but too tight bore for rec-ball. I dont want to spend 60+ a case of allstar all the time.

Has anyone have any experience with those barrels? Currently im aiming for the Lapco as Budget clenches his big burly fists around my neck.

<=== is still waiting for someone to prove that.

When i shoot my friends STO side by side to my marker, his gun has a flatter trajectory and a little tighter groupings. When i shot the Matrix at the local field it had a little more range and more accuracy than the cocker. It also somehow managed to get MORE still at rapid fire. Its like having a paintball laser. lol

Open bolt only so much accuracy? It's been proven somewhere in Warpig that no, closed bolt guns are not more accurate than open bolt guns. I'm not sure about the Speedline, but any barrel should work fine with LP, except for Smart Parts barrels. Those have way too much porting... You'll also want a shorter barrel for ported barrels, as a shorter length means less porting. :) The Javelin (Sp?) barrel is great for low pressure, but I haven't heard very well about it's accuracy from a person who has used it before (IronLung for a select few who ever talked to the guy once or twice :)). I'd personally go with a CP. My experience with the CP barrels have been great. Very accurate, not too much porting, but enough to keep it somewhat quiet.
