Smart Parts and The Model 98

Has any one noticed how smartparts seems to enjoy charging model 98 owners more for there barrels? I just don't get it. I mean sure the threads are huge but thats not 10 dollars worth of metal youre looking at in those big threads. I can understand automags being more (if youve ever seen an auto mag barrel you know what i mean). Is any body else here mad like I am at smart parts?

in canada they charge us 20 bucks extra the same as mags it sucks

it takes less metal to make a m98 thread but it is harder to do because they must mill it other barrel thye can just put a ide on it and thread it

the mag barrel are usually the only ones that cost more caust thety have to drill the hols and put the grooves and crap

And from a marketing point there are tons of people who have m98's so if they mark up the cost a little they make more profit.
