Call them up, they are better than most companies to deal with directly,

but critical paintball doesn't always have everything...like i wanted a apache hopper but the best i could find (not a egg or halo b) was a halo tsa...and i had to get it cuz i was ordering 4 other things on that site along with a CP barrel
hopefully the hopper will do good...could use circuit boards too...i wanted to get a IS board in the same order
still 2 thumbs up to critical paintball tho...even for my order that is pending and it has been a week:(

not every order takes as long as mine...it's just cuz i got a CP 1 piece...and EVERY order comes with 500 free rounds of paint
they don't tell us what paint tho

Why do you need a kit for an impulse?

whats wrong with using a cp kit for an impulse? I mean i play at many fields where they offer a large variety of paintballs of different bore size. I have a freak kit right now and Im not exactly digging the weak inserts. Also my first upgrade barrel ever was a cp 1 piece... and i loved it so i can't expect the prokit to be any lesser than the 1 piece, and the 1 piece was probably the best barrel i could've gotten for $40!

it's not needed open bolt you can get a .693 one peice or two peice and be fine for life.

then why not get a cp 2 piece...not a kit
that way when u get a better gun, u can buy more backs to it
and for right now just get a .693 bore

Let him get a kit. If he uses a wide variety of bore sizes it will still be better than a .93 or something huge. Small paint rolls right through a barrel that size in a blow test.

so u must be one who believes in paint to barrel with open bolt guns?
and also,CP's don't come in .93...the biggest is .893

Honestly, perfect paint/barrel match is not a must have for open bolt guns. While it is nice to have it for effciency reasons it's not the end of the world if the paint doesn't perfectly match.

yup..like renier said,(where's my $20 bucks), it doesn't matter.
I had a video somewhere but I can't find it now.

Add the $10 shipping. And I think the paint is just a nice gift to keep you coming back. (although I will buy anything i need form them now and firstcall since those two places are the only ones where the people over the phone actually help you)

Yes, you do get paint, it's ****ty sticky and hard shelled no-named crap.
Also, I shoot a $40 barrel on a marker that more than doubles the price of an Impulse. I use a .693 CP 1 Piece, and it owns for everything. Unless you use a Cocker, kits are the biggest waste and mis-conception in paintball.

Really? so non cocker guns dont need a paint to barrel match? What about a air ram or ram air of whatever its called? (like on impys timmys and THE ONE)

Open bolt guns don't need a paint barrel match because the ball detent keeps the gun from double feeding and form rolling down the barrel.
Closed bolt guns use a ball detent to stop double feeding but the the paint/barrel match is what keeps the ball from rolling out.

Cockers aren't the only closed bolt guns. Excals and Shoebox Shockers have closed bolts to name a few.

doesn't paint to barrel match improve accuracy?

paint to barrel for OPEN bolt guns=myth:tdown:

WEll, the one thing a good paint/barrel match on open bolt guns does is improve accuracy.
We should get someone here to do a comprehensive test.

ya, what about all that barrel stuff for all guns that says like if the ball rolls through thats bad and if it is really hard to blow it out its also bad and that u should get paint that you can blow out easily but it doesn't roll out

so for air ram gun you would suggest a cp 1 piece over te 2 piece?
aznpsycho

it's basic preference. both would work well.
