I've heard once you go bushy you never go back.

But is it true?

If you had the decision to make all over again would still go with the bushmaster?

Any complaints with it?

Just need your feelings on your marker choice.

Wow...loaded question

well lets try to help you out.

I started paintball over 10 years ago. Haveing watched and owned just about ever marker that came along, from Line SI's to palmers huricane to the good old VM, and so on. so far the bushmaster has shown its self to be reliable, inexpencive compaired to other markers in its class, and quite frankly one of the best markers I have ever owned.

Now I am not saying all other markers are crap...well ok the angel is but thats another matter. However the bushmaster dollar for dollar, pound for pound is one of the better markers out. Right out of the box its a joy to play with, and once you start to upgrade you can only get better.

I make a few suggestions to you.

1) if this is your first marker DO NOT start with a electric marker, start small. A nice stock spyder or something. Get the feal for the game and how markers work. Then sell it and go get your bushie.

2) Get a chance to play a game or two with one. Borrow one from a friend. Talk to other bushmaster owners at your local field. You may play a few games and not like it at all. On the flip side you may touch the gun and have a flash of true insite as to why so many are switching to this marker.

3) DO NOT just rush out and start upgradeing it. Go slow, Change a barrel, play for a bit. Change out the reg, play for a bit. Realy see how each mod affects your marker and its ability to fire.

4) Lastly, Do not think a bushmaster is goign to make you "the game" there is no replacement for experence on the field and practice. Many a time I have gogged idot angel owners with my good old stock PMI-2. Why? because most of them think the marker makes them get game. Practice, get good, and people will respect that no mater what marker you have.

hehehe, well im not exactly a newbie.

im getting rid of my spyder and purchasing my second marker.

im not looking for respect because of the marker, its simply that i want to try something different.

i appreciate your feedback though.

I say if you are a front player, look at the Bushmaster as one of your top choices. Ever since i bought my bushy, the absolute lightness of my set up has caused me to think any cocker on earth is a brick. If you like the way the bushy feels in your hands, you like the trigger, and all the other aspectes appeal to you (like for us) then by all means, step right into the family. But check out a shocker, impulse, and a cocker before you buy, because you might like one of them more (yeah... right :P ) But other than that, listen to overbear. IF you play back, i think you should look into another marker, becasue bushies do kick a tad bit more because of the light weight, but it will still preform in back, but the beuty of the bushy lies in the front.

hmmmm my only complaint is i go through too much paint  i seriously love my gun, i bought it already upgraded rather nicely so i didnt need to put anything into it. the trigger is so nice, i just wiggle my finger, i am easily shooting 11-12 bps. its very light and compact so it makes for an awesome front gun like richy said, but it does have a bit of a kick to it, since its so light. . . i have no regrets though, its an awesome gun and i got a great deal on mine.

personally, i'm in love with my bushy. every part of it, mainly because it's so upgradable, its the autococker of electros, making most 2 bushies different.
i love the feel of my bushmaster, when i shoot it, it's like a breath of fresh air, like everybody has said, you can really hose paint with these. and if you don't like the kick, there are things you can put on it to make it kick less.

but the best thing to do is play with it.
there's a tiny bit of slop on the trigger, most people don't mind, there is slop on any paintball trigger, especially double triggers (because of the length).

they are very small, quite simple to maintain once you start understanding the concepts.

but you can really customize them to your liking, i played w/ one of my friends bushies a couple weeks ago, it just didn't suit me, then i played with mine again, and it fits me like a glove.
i get 257 257 257 on the chrono, there is virtually no kick on the gun, i've had no problems with the actual marker (some problems with the vigilante i put on it, but i replaced that). you can get very small behind a bunker.

not only are they very high performance, but they are incredibly fun to play with. it would take a lot to get me to trade away my bushy.

the only other markers i'd buy would be a sonic or other custom cocker, a custom angel, or an aardvark matrix.
all of which would cost over $200 the price of the bushy.

Keep telling you venom dude, look at the converter for useing the palmer micro on your bush. It may look a tad funny, but who cares what you look like when your shooting dead on every time

280,280,280,279,279 ,279...(next 7 shots)

like clockwork and thats a exact readout from a 13 round burst acrost the crono. Done 5 times in a row no changes.
