hey I am getting an impulse and am on a really tight budget.

Does the impulse work good with the "Smart Parts 20oz On/Off tank"? does that keep the liquid c02 out cuz it's anti siphon?
or do I really need to spend 150 $ to get compressed air?

any help would be great thanx!

Surprised you haven't seen this in your Impulse research.

The Impulse was designed for CO2...and will work great...as long as liquid does not get into the marker.

I have a 20oz Antisiphon On/Off, installed by FOM, specifically to my ASA, and I do not get any liquid into the gun. How do I know? I "turn on" the tank...and when facing up properly, I get clear CO2 gas coming out of the valve...I flip it upside down, and I get white, "snow" gas coming out...meaning liquid as well.

As long as you are not getting liquid into the gun, it will be consistent and will work great.

Why spend $200 on a "decent" nitro when you can spend $40 on a 20oz that will get you more shots? ESPECIALLY if you are on a tight budget.

Don't be scared guys...Impulses are designed to run on CO2. If you don't have $200 to shell out for a nitro tank, go with a $40 20oz Antisiphon On/Off CO2 tank. They work just as good, and you'll get more shots out of it than a nitro tank as well. Don't give in to the nitro hype. Yes, nitro is good for any 'gun, as it will never freeze up, etc., but having the anti-siphon and especially the MaxFlow will keep your gun consistent. It's also funny when people are surprised to see an electro running on CO2..."Why the heck are you using CO2 on your Impulse?!"
"Because I can..." :D
