Matrix LCD or Phyton Impulse

Hi,

this is just curiosity...

i have seen that the phyton it,s one of the best stock upgrades impulses for the market but alot of persons say a Matrix LCD isthe way to go...what you think???

I dont care for looks...i only care for performance.

For the price of a Matrix you can get a 03 Shocker with vision for the price of the Shocker you can get a WASed Impulse with all ND internals, or you can save up $100 more dollors and buy a Cyborg. I would go for the Matrix if it was between the pulse & the trix

Matrix all the way. I absolutely LOVE the feel of matrix's, even stock ones. Matrix is the way to go man, they have virtually 0 kick and the trigger is delicious.

ive seen 5 shockers over at different feels and nothing has happened to them. they shoot and run flawlessly.

Despite he fact that I hate Smart Parts (this is kinda weird, I am glad that they have bumped the game/sport up a notch in competetive manufacturing, but I despie the means by which they did it), the Shocker has run flawlessly except for one Max-Flo leak (lack of maintenance).

on the other hand i know 2 people who have gotten shockers and both of them are fubar now, one of them has only played one day and hasn't taken it apart or anything and it's leak city

ya, the 03 shockers have lots of problems with chopping and the eye doesnt work for crap, maxxy leaking, fun stuff:| , but go with a trix

I don't like Impys, tho the Python is pure secks looking.....but the Trix owns it when it comes to performance. So out of the Impy and the Trix............Trix>Impy.

A Cyborg outperforms any stock Trix with ease. The DM4 is what the Cyborg is more comparable too, not the Dye LCD Trix.

put a UL and a clamping feedneck on a dm3 and youve got a gun that performs the same as a dm4. Only deffernece is the 1.5 pound weight difference and the internal lpr.

The DM4 has pretty much, way better everything then the DM3. Milling, Barrel, Ram, Spool/Bolt, LPR...I think the eyes are the same correct me if I'm wrong...


The DM3 doesn't perform the same as a DM4 if you put a new barrel on it......

A DM3 with an evolve bolt and tadao board will run circles around a DM4. The only thing the DM4 has on it is weight and easier maintainence. I'd take my ironmen trix over a DM4 any day.

The new 2k4 llpr that comes stock on the dye lcd is amazing. And they have 2 completly different bolt designs. And the effiency of both these guns are actually about the same.

DM3= $825
dm4= $1350

If you put 500 bucks into a dm3 you will have a much much better gun than the dm4.

Meh, I don't know too much about the names of the internals on Trixes, but all the same, a Cyborg still pwns a Matrix LCD. Hell, IMO a Cyborg pwns a DM4.

Shot em both. The cyborg reminds me more of a timmy. the trix reminds me of...well, a DM4.

The trix is faster and more upgradable right now, whereas the borg is lighter and more consistent.

I hope you mean that the Trix is faster then the Impulse.....because Cyborgs can EASILY keep up with DM4s, and Cyborgs don't need any upgrades, except maybe a clamping feed neck (which is out), and a new barrel, if you don't like the Matchstik(which is a SUPERB barrel).

I know I've shot a Trix, I just can't remember if it was a Dye LCD or not......but it was hella fast. I just like the feel of the Borg better IMO. I was actually considering getting a Dye LCD, but I just really like the Cyborg more, better bang for the buck IMO.

No, the trix is faster than the cyborg. Much nicer trigger on the trix than the borg.

Retail shop near us has it for about 1325, + tax.

Last trix I saw was 700.

That's so harsh. I pay $50 more, but it's in Canadian dollars.....where I buy from the Trix is only about $200 less then the Cyborg. But whatever, it's all personal prefrence........but at least we agree on something. (That the Trix, and Borg PWN the Impy).

I just didn't like the borg as compared to the trix. Sure it is indeed up there with the cream of the crop, just not my style (same way I hate the 03 shocker).

Now impulses....got nothing compared to timmies, borg, trix, angel....etc.

Thats funny, I've put 2-2 1/2 cases of paint through mine and haven't had one ball break due to my gun (crappy field paint, and some dark green stuff). I have no fsdo, and absolutely no leaks what so ever. I don't get how barrel breaks are the guns fault either? That isn't the gun. Thats the barrel, hence its called a "barrel break".

that's average. i paid $800 for a late '03 with WAS/ACE, CCM no rise, 3 triggers, new anno,on/off...ect...
