Black and White bolt for EQ

My friend told me that using a black bolt decreases the ROF with the WAS. Is there any downfall on either bolts?

Bolt color doesn't increase your ROF, even if you had vision or WAS you will just need different settings for it to work at its best.

It doesn't allow you to use eye mode...2? if you have a none reflective (black) bolt. Eye mode 1 needs a set ROF such as...45, which is still untouchable, it's no biggy.

yes, although a white bolt will help the gun cycle faster, an impulse with a WAS board in it will still be able to fire like 40+bps so it doesn't really matter. the bigger issue i what hammer/ram/bolt pin you're using though. you should have the lightest bolt/bolt pin/hammer/ram, so that means buy a ti bolt pin, delrin bolt, silk shot ram (it is quite the lightest, but it is by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar the best) and either a ti (if you can find one) or stock aluminum hammer. those are what is gonna really help an impulse shoot faster.
