Hey all!

This fall I'll be coming down to Rhode Island for college, so I was just wondering what the best field options are down there.

Thanks!

Or, you could go to a better field in Mass.

But where in RI are you going to be? That would help alot.

I'm going to RWU, in Bristol. Anything in the Providence or Newport area would be great keeping in mind freshman can't have cars(like I have one anyway), so I either have to take a bus(might not be a good idea carrying a paintball marker on, even if it's in a gym bag or something) or find an upperclassman who would be willing to take me:(
Anyone else going to RWU?

It doesn't really matter when it takes 40 minutes to get across the whole state :D

Woggie you live in NJ...the worst place in this country...you have no bashing rights.

Try Providence indoor. I have heard great things about it and you can play all year round.(check field reviews section for more info)

LOL First off, screw you all who think jersey sucks.

Second off it doesn't take 40 min to get around RI it's more like an hr and hr and a half because people from RI need to learn how to drive and you always seem to be stuck behind them.

Lastly, I've been to Providence Indoor before they moved upstairs, but from what I hear from other players it a good place to play now. Also when I went the staff was awsome, hope that hasn't changed.

I should be hitting it up on wednesdays when I get back to school, from what I hear it's the night to be there. And it would be easy for you to get to because the bus stop is right there on campus, you'd just have to take a cab to the field which might get a little expensive. It might be easier for you to hook up with an upper classmen that likes paintball.

I wasn't really bashing RI, I was being dead serious, but that's cool I guess. Plus I do have the right to bash RI, I used to go about once or twice a month for the weekend. BTW, while north jersey may suck, south jersey rules. Plus del hobbies is there, home of the best ballers on the east coast. Have fun pahking your cahs and playin pokah for kawtaz you wicked phat peeps. Just kidding about the accent thing, that accent is so sweet.

the New England accent is the best way to get some outside of new england...the ladies love it

There are a couple different New England accents, mass has the most pronounced, and RI's is like it's inbred hillbilly cousin. I'm from CT, and we have no accents here:) LOL

Shut it, of course you have an accent.

That accent ROCKS. But I dont have it. I wish I did :( .

I honestly think south jersey is the only place on earth without an accent. With the exception of "wooter" and "begel" (which I don't say), we pronounce everything correctly.

It doesnt really matter where you live. As long as you are educated enough and are tought how to pronounce words correctly you can live anywhere.

Ok this is getting off topic, I'll stop.

Yeah, slushii, shut up, you don't have the accent cuz you go to private school, not hillbilly public school. I've been to Providence indoor, the old field, and it sucked, but the people were really cool, and I hear the new place is incredible, gonna get up there on a wednesday eventually.

A bit late on the reply, but... There are plenty of fields that do not require too much driving to get too. I live very close to Roger Williams in Middeltown. RWU has some dorms off campus 10 minutes from my house. Warzone paintball is in Kingston about 25 minutes away.

Their website is http://www.warzoneri.com

PNL paintball has an indoor and two outdoor fields that are not too far away as well, maybe 40-45 minutes away. I like going to warzone, it is a nice woodsball field. Although PNL has a new field with a Ghost Town setup. I am going to check that out with some friends in September.

Anyway, good luck at RWU.
