Which is better. I like the lapco because its cheaper and it is a FACT that it shoots well. I like the Speedline because it looks sweet.
Anyone have experience with either?

Says on their site that they made sure the ball would be at full acceleration before it hits the ports. But hey, thats their site. Heres something that crossed my mind: Ater the ball is fully acelerated, there is fricion applied to the ball. But if there is not ports within the time it is fully accelerated and the time that it leavesthe barrel, will it remain te same speed then when it was at top speed? When they say "The gass is no longer needed" does that mean that it is allready up to speed? Because i think if there was still gass in the barrel it would serve to keep the peed up, rather than be useless. So can we coe to the conclusion the less porting the better? Yes i know its off topic.

It only takes about 8" for the ball to come up to speed. Porting helps the pressure infront of the ball to move out of the way and it allows the pressure behind the ball to blow off relieving the turbulence it can create. The remainder of the barrel is to allow the ball to stabilize before it leaves the barrel.
It's arguable that to do all this, 12" is all that's needed assuming the porting is setup right.
