PMI Thor Reg

Hey, has anyone ever tried or heard about the PMI Thor bottomline reg? I've been wanting to get an adjustable nitro system, but I thought, hey instead of selling my current tank and spending $300 on a new one, why not just spend $100 on this reg. But, before I go out and buy this, has anyone ever tried this out? If so, does it work well? What would you rate it on a scale from 1 to 10? Any info on this product would be of great help. Thanks!

i was thinking of the same thing....

i have a preset - pe 68/4500, that i got for $150... and if i get the thor reg... would it help.... the price is really expensive... for a reg, u kno. i heard its equivalent to a geddon... but with less parts, higher flow. but that's what i heard, i don't if its true. I don't wanna down $100, if its a waste.

on the other hand, i was also thinking if i change my reg on my tank... like put a conquest reg... i kno it can be done... but for what price?

You can change the regs on your tank?? must be expensive. Anyways, think of it this way, you get the adjustable reg for the output pressure for your tank, then you don't need another reg, you can just get a gas-thru. So you save money there.

Oh well, if nobody responds to this post, I'll just buy it and tell you how it works. I'm probably going to get it anyways. I have heard good things though.

The thor reg is great i love mine. www.xpaintball.com has them for 74.77 They are also clearing out on pmi 68 steel 3000psi adjustable tanks. I have not used this particular tank but all the other pmi tanks are great so i got myself one for christmas. The tanks are129.77

You cant beat that set the tank at 450 the thor at 400 and a vert reg at 350 and you will have evil consistancy at the chrono.

Macdev doesn't sell the individual conquest regs anymore..they used to, but they dropped it because it just wan'st workin well.. The tank needed to be sent into them and it just took too much time and money to send to australia and stuff..

Not sure about other US companies tho :confused:
