Well, it was the second time i ever went paintballing and the first time i played at a field. I was with a friend and he said that we had to chrono our guns. So i said "Ok........." we went over to the chronograph and i shot my gun over it. i was shooting at about 350 fps, a good 70 fps over the limit for the field. my friend said that he wouldnt want to be shot by that right now. So i screwed in the velocity screw a good 4 rotations and it still shot at about 350. So i put it even lower and lower, still no good. My friend said that my spring might be messed up, but then an employee walked over and asked what the problem was (probably because he kept on hearing the BLEEP sound the chronograph made) and i told him that i couldnt get my gun under the limit. So, he shot it in the chronograph and then screwed in the velocity screw more and more and more, until it became hard even for him to screw it in anymore (he used about 25 paintballs to test by this time). and finally, it went under the limit. Hurray! So, we went and played a for about 3-4 hours and i couldnt hit a damn thing. i had to get like 40 ft close to someone to even get a shot on em,and the balls didnt even break when they hit. so basically, i sukced it up the whole day. when we decided to end the day, we headed for our gear and passed right pass the Chronograph. i shot to see my fps because i thought it would be fun (newbie pride) and it came out to be at 190. Well, from then on, i always gave my gun a few shots or time to adjust if i ever changed the velocity. Well, thats my story, and i would like the apologize for its lengtheness:D

don't you chrono at lunch? I know I chrono about 4 times during the day just to make sure my velocity doesn't drop or go up, even though I use HPA, I just want to no be cought shooting hot on the field because something went screwy in my marker
