I went out to play with my new mech but i cant seem to change the velocity very well. It came stock at like 180 fps and that was defiantly not cool. i turned the reg up to like 240 and i couldn't turn it up anymore otherwise i would blow my lines off. The manual says to take off the cocking rod and u an allen wrench to turn it up but that doesn't do anything to the velocity at all. plz help.

The stock gauge sometimes suck...

The skrew is really sensitive sometimes or really stiff.

It's a ball-bearing regulator, so if you turn it to high, that ball bearing will shoot into your gun or your hose... Now I didnt want that to happen so I just got a cheap centerflag regulator for $35

wait... does your mech come with the same reg as a TES?

i guess i should asked that first

if the tes comes with a dragun regulator then yes.

To change the velocity you unscrew the rod under the bolt, pull it out, put a allen key (sorry don't know what size but your field should have the right size) and turn it clockwise to turn the velocity down and counter-clockwise to turn the velocity up. I hope this helped.

thats backwards dude. Its clockwise to turn it up and counter colckwise to turn it down. turning it clockwise moves the brass thing farward wich puts more tension on the spring which forces the hammer farward harder so the vavle stays open longer.
