Can Piranha's Use Spyder Bolts???

Can PMI Prianha's use Spyder Bolts? I know Piranha's are able to use some Spyder parts and I was wondering if bolts were one of them? If you could also tell me what other Spyder parts can be used in a Piranha that would be very helpful. Thank You very much.

Ive experimented with this my self and this is what ive found.

Most rear cocking bolts use a fairly large bolt design such as the shutter. However side-cocking bolts are fairly small like a shocktech or something. However with my Prianha BTL G2 it uses a small rear cocking bolt. So a bolt for a shutter such as a bob long cyclone bolt will not fit a piranha, however a shockteck bolt for say a SE would.

However all this information is based on my Piranha BTL G2 which is an older model. The STS might be different. The best way to find out is go to your local shop and test them out

Does anyone know where to get a Bolt made for a Piranha? Everywhere I've looked I couldn't find one.

What kind of Piranha do you have? Most often company's wont specify Piranha products. When indeed they will fit. Before you buy though you really should just go around and physically try some

My Piranha is a VTL or BTL (forgot, bought it used then upgraded like crazy) but aren't they the same body anyway? If someone could recommend some bolts that they used on a Piranha VTL or BTL that would be great. Again, what other Piranha parts can be replaced my Spyder parts, if someone knows.

Were in the same boat then because VTL's and BTL's are the same body. Heres a list of parts that are universal to BTL's and spyders

.45 Grip frames
Barrel Threads
Shroud (Strictly ornamental)
Sidecocking spyder bolts
Almost any reg (Regs are universal anyway)
Trigger Frames
Triggers

Thats all i can really thnik of. Theres some other odds and ends that work with specific spyders/piranhas. Hoipe this helped, ill post more i i can think of them
