This game has changed

I stoped playing for about 5 months, and when i started again last weekend everything is totally different. Is it just me or has money corrupted the game. Before i could borrow a hopper, a 9v batter or a barrel plug from the field shop or ask some one to let me borrow an allen wrench, but now its like you have to pay for it and get your own damn tools!!! But even worse are the players, god they treat a rec game like its a tourny, people cussing at each other for gun hits, and going insane over the smallest things. The worst is stealing, god while i was there a new jt proteus mask was stolen, a 12v hopper and an automag with a hpa system. And for some reason everyone is treating everyone like an jerk, people are yelling at each other over woodsball sucks tournys are the real way to play, and jerks lauging at people wearing fatigues or using co2, wtf happend??? Did everyone think the game was getting a little bland and decided to be *******s to eachother.

No man, it just sounds like your field completely sucks. People around my field still treat each other great, and myself and a few other tournament players have gone up against rec players and intentionally made stupid moves so they could win, and made very certain not to rain paint at first timers. I always lend out my allen keys (and I've lost 4 sets already as a result :P) and alot of people share that attitude. The field owner often lets gun owners borrow markers when theirs isnt working, and everyone is very positive. The sport is still great, I think you may just need a new field

there are a lot of fields like that. I hate all tose spoiled little brats that have Angels and say thing to eachother like, "This gun is worth more then your life!" you've just got to find one with people who are actually interested in playing paintball and having a good time.

my friends and i dont go to many fields cause of the way this only local field is run by this ******* who like just came short of calling me stupid for getting my gun online. there is another field but it is very busy and well I am scared about someone stealing my gun cause another friend of mines got stolen and his friend picked up his gun and shot the thief in the head. he just walked away causually like nothing happened then dropped the gun(an m98 so it definatly wasnt hurt) and ran off cusing.

like twich said, you need a new field, the one i play at is still a very friendly set place. the shop owner is *****, but the people are nice.

yeah, people at my field are all pretty friendly for the most part

havent heard anything about theft, and people are pretty cool about letting you shoot their marker and borrow stuff

I never got why some people are like that. Hell, even at a tourney, I dont really care who wins or loses, I'm just out there to have some fun, try to place at least 3rd so I can get free paint/whatnot, and tag some people. But some people, DAMN! they act like its the super bowl or some ****, its so messed up. Ironicly they don't seem to place very high.. ;)

Oh well, let the cheaters and *******s do as they please. They're just ruining the fun for themselves, since I assume us normal levelheaded people automatically try and nail them. I know I do

At the field where I used to play there were folks like that. Total *******es that thought if they didn't win the world would end. They would make fun of Spyder and my friend's Tippmann and stuff, and swear they were so good. But guess what, I found out why they won all the time: I caught one wiping my hit off. A ton of other people have seen them wipe as well. (And those guys were called The San Fransico Hornets!)

The point is, when your field has people like that it's time to change fields. The field I go to now has nearly ALL it's players as tourny players. Me and my buds are probably the only rec players that go there, and they treat us with as much respect as we treat them. They even help us out when we need it, whether it's borrowing a tool or giving us cover fire.

Bottomline: Find a new field!

Me and all my close paintball friends just outlaw in the property I own, so it isnt really outlaw. My property is about 50 acres of forest, and a few dirt roads. We also have 1 tank Me and my dad made. I should open my own little field. Hehehe.

Yea try to find a new feild to play at. The feild where i live has one speedball feild, and a 3 man and a woods feild are in the making. Here, everyone gives compliments to each other and shakes hands after each game, just how all sports should be. Maybe your feild will take a turn for the best.:blah:

Yeah, I agree with the post above. Everyone compliments each other and shakes hands after each game. Whenever someone needs a part, tool, or even a gun, you can count on someone lending you one at my field.

yeah the guys at my feild are really nice. they will lend u about anything. before i got my impulse, the feild owner let me use his impulse that he has upgraded for like a year now.

my first tourny was great at the field i went to(the same place adamnfool is from) everybody was nice and helpful. they made it alot of fun. theres another feild around me were the owner said i was dumb for buying my gun online. the store owner is cool though.

yeah come to my firld. there arent enough people to play really big games. but eh owner is awesome. he lets me teach all the little kids that never used a marker before and lets me do all kinds of things. i guess the bottomline is, that im a really tired retard and now im going to sleep. school blows.
