I have an idea of what it is but am not certain. I wa told I should definetely get one for my gun if I plan on using CO2. Is there any truth in this?

well, refering to pyshical science, do you know whata syphon is? its the oppisite and is used so that liquid c0poo doesn't enter the gun.

about getting one, do you have a vertical tank setup or horizontal? ie is the tank bottom down, or like a stock? if it's bottom down, an anti siphon isn't necessary, but if it's horizontal, you might want one if you dont' want you're gun to freeze up on you.

I never claimed to be an artist, So here's my doodlin!

A) Is the space that's left after a fill (Fill station will never completely fill a co2 tank to the very top) Notice how the tube runs along the top of the bottle. This is were it draws the co2 gas.

B) Like it says liquid co2. Remember it's a liquid!

C)Alignment dot or notch. This dot or notch should be at the very top of your asa after you've screwed the bottle into the marker. This way the tube will be at the top of the bottle, drawing off only gas.

D) On/Off Valve. In order to use an antisyphon device the pin/spring valve must be removed. It is replaced with this system that allows the co2 to be turned on and off.

Hey I don't claim to be a famous artist, But like they say a pictures worth a thousand words, I hope this one helps!
