Have you ever seen or caused a kid to cry in the game of paintball.

I told ths story long ago; but i dont think that matters.

There was a kid, about 11 or 12 years old that arrived at our field with an angel LCD. This kids daddy spent some serious cash on this gun, it had a 14 inch boomstick, custom ano, and custom milling. The kid started bragging about how he has been playing for 3 years and he has never been shot. A bunch of us thought that was pretty funny, so the next game 3 of us surrounded him and showed him how it felt to get shot. After the game he left, i dont know if he went home or went to play with the pump gunners.

i was playing on this one field at my local paintball field and this kid popped out from behind a rock and i shot him in the neck from about 20 feet away. he hurled his gun down the hill and then let out the water works.

most of my friends have never played before so they don't cover properly, i've seem some tears after kids get shot in the hand w/o gloves or shot on the top of the head because they don't cover it up.

Haha yall underestimate the dumbness of the kid that shot him. We werent playing in a game we werent even on a field. It was a classic scenario of "i didnt think it was loaded" He thought he was going to blast him with some cold co2 but forgot about that last paintball in the chamber

well in one game I played a kid with a talon was deserate trying to tag me out and i payed him little attention as he was 30 yard away and hadn't come within ten feet of hitting me so I continued to play ignoring him and he would shoot a dozen or so times and then come a little closer in and fire some more well the kid moved in to about 25 feet of me and popped a shot which hit the tree i was using for cover and I turned on him took two quick shots which landed in his chest and he practically fell back behind the tree crying...I felt bad it was one of those welt on top of a welt deals... I apologized made sure he was ok and then resumed to game on...

When I took Muck Jr. out he got hit five times in the arm and chest from about five feet, I know it hurt, but he sucked it up ... of course he sat out the next two games.

Then there was first time I played at Thunderbay and some Hot Shot Teen bunked this 10-year-old kid and shot him, as Cartman would say, "Square in the nuts." That kid cried, but I don't blame him, someone should have done the same thing to the punk that nailed him.

:D Is it just me, or does Beercamel have a tiny bit of attitude? :D I could be off base here.

I saw a couple o eight year olds caught in the open get lit up, cried pretty bad and I felt pretty p1ssed off that someone would be so shytty to light up a couple of eight year olds. Found out who did it, little aszhole 13 year old tourney wannabee player (You know the kind, ize goggles, JT jersey, Destroyer pants, 8 pod pack, freeflow autocker, and shows off to newbies constantly, reminding exeryone why he's so good), and this kid was bragging about how funny it was that he just kept shooting these kids. Next game a buddy helped me bunker him and I shot him o... 10 or 15 times in the side of the neck. I never thought I'd see someone throw a freeflow autocker in rage, but he picked it up, left the field, and went home before he could shoot the case of paint or so he had left over. I'm glad too, because kids like that have no buisiness being in our sport. That and cocky kids p1ss the hell outta me, and I have a habit of nailin em a few extra times anyway, so this kid really deserved it :)

if i notice someone cheating i am not afraid to and WILL show them that their angel is no match against me and a mag, but if it's a tourney play w/an angel i still try, but neck shots are the most cried about

You Kick AZZ

Amargio ... when the kid got it in the nads, his dad was there to "tend to matters." if it had been mine, I'd have handled it ... as for Muck Jr. taking those close range hits, he tried to bunker someone on his second game and it backfired, he shot the guy, but the balls bounced. I don't want to sound cold, but to me, what he did was a learning experience.

I know what you mean about taking up for your kids, I've got four, only one is old enough to play ... my oldest daughter will be 10 next year, then there's a 4-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter ... they all want to play. I figure in 10 years I'll have my own team ... The Muck Family. As for rules, Muck Jr. has to maintain A's and B's if he wants to play ... he hasn't been in a few weeks because of his grades. But, like I told him, Playing Paintball is a priviledge, not a right.

Amargio ... do you work for paintballgeek.com? I've been on their site and they've got some good stuff. I can't promise, but December/January when I buy a new marker, I may go through them, they're the only site I've been on so far that seems to regularly carry the Defiant and Intimidator ... but hey, that's some months away.

Letting him learn the hard way huh? I bet your the kind of guy that throws his kid into a lake and says "swim" ;)

nope, but my dad was ... Muck Jr. was playing a three-on-three game with some other kids, I was watching ... actually one of the Refs was trying to help him out by telling him there was someone behind the bunker, but Muck Jr. Misunderstood and though the Ref was telling him to get behind that bunker, so he runs up to it, and there was a guy there, so he shot at him, missing, the other guy turns and fires, then they start firing at each other, like four or five feet away from each other. Both were wearing thick clothes, so several balls bounced, finally Muck Jr. called himself out.

Me and some of my friends and some adults were out just playing somw wooded play. One of my friends sister decided she would like to try paintball...She got shot from about 40 feet away in the arm and started crying. The next game, I was on her team and giving her some cover but I got shot. She then ran out of the bounderies, fired off all of her balls and then called herself out.

I would say three hand shots in the same place with my Maverick would make someone cry. But it didnt, at least to me. I have seen someone right next to me swear a whole lot when he got hit in the nads.

I was playing some three on three and I was one of two people left on my team and only one kid was left on the other team. so me and my partner ambushed in a v shape /\ and we probably fired 20 rounds at him and only hit him twice. we hit him once in the shoulder from 15-20 feet away and he fell backwards. after the game was all over he started crying and then stared laughing. He was wierd.

outofpaint i think you better not play if you can't handel the pain,if you worry about body parts they make stuff to protect them.

Making a kid in to much pain is wrong i think, but its part of the game, when they get older they will havemore skills from starting so young.

Nah ... making a kid take a hit is OK, bunkering the kid and then nailing him at point blank is dead wrong. Sure, starting at 10-12 is cool and they gain a lot of experience, but point-blanking a kid that young ain't right. If someone did a Rambo like that on my kid, I'd come unglued.
