Can girls play paintball?

I work at a local paintball field and not once have i seen a girl out there with any talent. Having nothing aganist them i'd just like to see more of them get into the sport.

there are a couple girls that are into paintball..and they are CRAZY good...I have no shame in getting shot by a girl..some guys do..but it's dumb...paintball is a sport where your gender doesn't affect your playing as much as some other sports...and there are some very good all women's teams out there like 2Die4 and The Iron Maidens..

just cuz a girl beats you in paintball doesn't make you not a man..big whoop...what you got inferiority complex? :eek: :D in paintball..gender is not a factor in the ability of the person..i know at my field i've been lit up by girls before..and i don't hav ea problem with that really..

there was a girl last weekend who was pretty damn good in fact she had more kills and more flag pulls than anyone person on there team then there was a girl who was on our team who wasn't very good she wasn't that fast or a great shot at all but what madew this game fun is that both of these girls were enjoying themselves although I have to admit it was quite funny seeing a 35-40 yr old woman dressed in spandex and those little jellies shoes running around dunking behind bunkers and was actually enthused with the game I'd play with her again cause she could atleast remember who was on her team and that she shouldn't shoot her teamtes and lets face it I have encountered plenty of guys who couldn't remember this.

It's odd, i've seen more girls playing at the speedball field than at the Woods field ... I wonder why. Also, I've heard that more women participate in Scenario games than in any other type of paintball sport. Things that make you go hmmmm.

I think it would suck to lose to a girl team for the same reason a football team of guys would think it would suck.

I got lit up by a girl who never played before and was using a ray. She did better overall than me in kills. We were playing hopper ball and i was enjoying my new trigger job a little too much and shot my hopper out two diff games. :/ She was a stealthy sh*t though. Very good at ambushing people.

We swept Iron Maidens Int Bronze at skyball and I kicked Dave in the arse for bunkering a girl... but that's a different story. Though I've beaten alot of girls, the maiden "A" team is composed of amazing players, who'd whoop any of us in the blink of an eye, so I give good female players as much respect as I would to a good male player. That, and the maidens team we played were probably the nicest most sportsmanlike players I've ever met, and I really gotta hand that to em

Stick it to the man, muck! The other day, I got nailed by a 12 year old with a dark angel, Didnt get mad, kid was so frickin good, and was the smalles target you ever seen. And I think 12 year olds are inherently better at makin those spastic movements that let em snap shoot faster than all us old farts (16 year olds and up). I didnt hold any grudges, the kid was just plain good, and it's the same way if a woman beats you

I've seen girls play and some of them will light u up before u even see them. There are a couple good women teams like the Fallen Angels. I think there should be more women in the sport just cause they hit u doesn't mean a thing cept that your out.

Along with what Twitcho was saying, a couple of weeks ago me and a friend hit a speedball field, I got there early and there was this guy, incredibly HUGE, about five foot seven and about 300 pounds, i mean he was big ... Just looking at him you'd think he'd never be able to play good or be able to get behind a bunker, but let me tell ya, he was the smallest target on the field ... and when he snapped out from behind his bunker with nothing but a Spyder Compact and CO2, you'd think he was shooting an RT, I mean he was fast on the trigger, and deadly accurate. All I can say is that I was glad I was on his team.

Don't worry Beer, my "Dress" isn't tangled ... just curious, do you not like being beaten by a female? Does that bother you? Paintball isn't the only sport where women are excelling; biking, racing, boxing, martial arts, firearms, Collegiate Wrestling ... and the list goes on. Traditionally male-dominated sports are falling by the wayside, soon, I suspect, even professional sports such as the NFL, NBA and MLB will have female athletes. It's nothing to be scared of.

Sure, i have seen girls that suck and girls that rule. Paintball is a sport where it dosent matter about sex, or weight. Like TL said i have np shame getting hit or eliminated by one of them.

Seriously though, both of you stated your opinions, and I've stated mine. Everyone is entitled to state their opinions, and BeerCamel is no different. At the beginning of his post he did say "I think there should be more in the sport", so his heart is in the right place.Both of you flame away if you must, but nobody take it too personally, because after all they are only words, and I'd hate to see someone not return to this forum because of something that transpired between them and someone else. That would be a shame, because everyone has something to contribute, and each member is important. So nobody go taking anything personal and not returning. It may seem far fetched, but I've seen it happen before, so it isnt impossible for somethin like that to happen.

like Twitcho and Muck have been saying, unlike some other sports, for example football, gender doesn't matter that much in paintball. I've been wooped by girls at pb many times, and i wouldn't even want to go up against the Iron Maidens 0r the Fallen ANgels ever..they're beast..

I think there are certain areas that women have an advantage in paintball. I played with this girl who is about 5'2" and damn she was tiny on the field she was hiding behind rocks and ferns and ****. They are also much less likely to get all macho and do something stupid like I've seen so many guys (myself included) do. But conversly I think that girls have much more potential to suck so much worse than the average guy. My friend brought his girlfriend to the field one day and she was holding the gun like it was about to bite her. I won't deny how much fun it was to light my freind's girl up:D. But hey, that just makes the girl that can kick my arse that much more incredible.

i think girls can do whatever guys can do in terms of paintball. and girls are even starting to emerge in male dominated sports such as football. there's a girl on my lacrosse team. there's girls lacrosse but not at my league. shes just as good as any1 else.

I was playing woods ball last year, with about 10 people per side. They were mostly renters. There was this girl in camo, man...she handled her M98 like she was a killing machine! Fearless, smart, and doing well with a rental. She was a sexy sight too.

Afterwards, I asked her "Where did you learn to shoot like that?"

She replied, "ROTC."

She was cool :)
