do paintballs expire??

i was wondering if paintballs expire then dont shoot as good?

umm i dobut they can get to where u cant shoot them but.
-they get dented
-brittle
-dried paint (hurts more :) )

but then again my frined had paint in a storage garage for 1 year and it works fine
