Couldn't you reinstate the review mods just to review the reported comments/reviews/etc?

Woulnd't that take a lot of work off you?

I was a review mod, it was fun:crazy: Any chance of the R/M's coming back into consideration? Last I checked Andrew was devising a new system for the review moderation system, but I don't really keep up to date with what is happening.

Yes, RMS was awesome I sent Andrew and e-mail a week ago asking if there are any new developments, but I have yet heard from him...he's probably busy taking care of other stuff right now.

But I can recall that the last post he made was that if we were needed in the future we would be the first to know...

If Andrew or any other Mods have any updates please let me and some of others know, cause I would really like an update on how the new system is working out...and if there any position available to uptake.

if we brought back review mods...all I could say is that I tried to PM this to andrew but he doesn't accept pms.

Is that we would need to make it faster, as in, in my idea instead of having to read 100% of the reviews and vote, and have to have 3 votes or so you just go straight to the normal reviews look at those and start deleting all the instantly bad ones with 1 vote.

That'd be good. People write new reviews all the time, but the sucky ones never got deleted.

whats the point of deleting the crappy reviews, isnt that just like deleting the persons opinion of the product? wouldnt that make the sight more biased?

you obviously do not understand the purpose of the review moderating system. they deleted reviews like:
"AUITCOCKERRS AERE TEH SUCK!!!11!!22R!1!!!"
"come to my site! URL URL URL"

among other things, including horrible misinformation (this marker shoots 200 yards further than the older model. stuff like that), illegible spelling, and the number one most deleted review: the ones with filler. "50 word minimum 50 word minimum 50 word minimum." so, before you go about saying that the review mods are biased and they delete opinions, don't :rolleyes:

ok, I forgot about that. lol. im still too new to know the mechanics of this site. thanks for straightening me out on that. now i see what you would be doing by review moderating. btw not necissarily accusing of being biased, just wondering.

Those are the ones that need deleting. I think that with the review moderator system, too many reviews got deleted.

I ccraxcked up last time i wrote a review and it said improper capitalization, i thought it was funny/stupid that it wouldnt let me not capitalize the first word:rolleyes:
