I couldn't find any threads on this, so i decided to post about it.

Is it hard to do your own milling, and can it be very damaging to the Marker itself?

I've been wondering, because i've seen some done, and wanted to try it myself, but wanted someone to tell me, is it hard, or potentially damaging. Thanks.

doning it youself you will probably screw up (it wont be even, ull get striations, etc.), another reason i wouldnt be so sure about it is that the two recievers are pretty thin, youd only be able to kinda etch into the side, not make any deep cuts. Guns that get milling (like autocockers, new spyders) are created from a solid block of metal that starts off quite thick, thats what allows them to have those graceful curves

Unless you work in a Machine Shop or have friends that work at one. That way you'll get an experienced Mill-Job at a discount price or for free.

I wouldn't recommend doing your own millings with a Dremel unless you do know what you're doing. Otherwise I'd talk to some guys in a shop and see how they can help you. Milling designs can be pretty cool as long as the person knows what they're doing; and in the right circumstances it can decrease the weight of the marker.
