Hey guys I just got my impulse the other day and I was so excited but I seem to be haveing a few problems, I think they may just be lube problems but I cant get any right now ( we have just had MAJOR flooding here) ok. so heres whats going on

Specs
2k1 impulse with horizantal maxflwo ( had to do oring trick)
eclipse dart valve
everything else is stock

1. I have the pressure really low when I put the tank in and then I start to turn it up and when I start to gets to about 100 psi the bolt just sticks forward, what is wrong here?
2. when I take off the front cap there is no spring in there I though this was odd, and I called my local imp tech and he said it doesnt need one, is he right?
3. I cant tell if it is still happening because I get the bolt sticking forward, but when the bolt wasnt sticking forward, I was turing up the maxflow pressure to get to about 150 psi it would make a loud burp/buzz type noise when I fired, dose the maxy need rebuiling?

EDIT
4. I have an amber board on my imp, and I would like to know what should happen when I turn it on sould it
a) light on back go green then amber then back to green the flick off every time I pull the trigger
b) Go green then amber then light go out and flick green every time I pull the trgger.
and also the light would just flash buy it self some times it has done a variation of these and I would like to know whats going on. it doesnt seem to be causing problems because the noid will click for every pull
EDIT

Once it clears up here I will be getting some white lithium grease (this is what dow is right?) to do up the gun, and this weekend im getting to my proshop place with the techs and stuff to fix up anything I cant do right now.
Thanx for the help

1. This is called bolt stick. Buy a tapeworm and it will solve all your problems. Also, set your input pressure to somewhere between 140-180psi.

2. If the Eclipse valve is anything like the RIP, then no, it doesn't need a spring. I'm not to familiar with the Eclipse valve.

3. Try adjusting your dwell. It sounds like a dwell problem to me. When the dwell isn't set right it sounds like the Impulse is "coughing" or "burping".

Oh, and use Dow 33 when lubing your Impulse. Hope that helped. :)

Yeah you shouldnt need a spring. And dow 33 is also know as shocker grease. Just let you know so you dont get confused or anything...;)

I'm not too familiar with the old amber boards so I couldn't say if that was normal or what. But if you want you can spend 40 bucks and get a Cricket Board (http://www.bradyspaintball.com/smpaimcrboon.html) from bradyspaintball.com. Or, spend the $150 and get an Equalizer board. But when I suggest those options for a new board, I'm assuming that what you said is not normal for an Amber board.

Ummm, doesn't bolt stick happen after you shoot the gun? Couldn't the bolt simply be in upside down? I've been away from the impy section for a while though, so I could just be flat out wrong

Yes the bolt stick happens after I shoot it, like ill be turning up the pressure fireing a few shots along the way and when I would get over 100psi the bolt would stick forward. My bolt is not in upside down.

I havent gotten a chance to do anything about it, but good news is that I am going to Badlands(canada) tommorw to pick stuff and they have awsome techs there so they can help me sort out my problems. and there I will pick up a tape worm, dow 33, rebuild kit for the imp and maxflow. and then it will be all good, hopefully.
