Is it worth it to buy some gloves and use them?Do they help? Alos has anyone ever gotten hit in the nuts so that they now use a cup?

Gloves I wear in the winter time but a cup I wear most of the time cause I have been there done that 2 times so it all about protecting the family jewels

i wear both my gloves and cup almost ALL the time cause i have been hit in both places hands bleed and leave nasty marks alot and well i was hit in the calzones from like 10 feet or so maybe closer and still am trying to get the pink paintball juice out and just think how my nuts felt use em

no cup, but i do have a pair of raven slider shorts.... got hit 3 times, all bounced, and i didn't feel nothing, just the reaction of getting hit in the balls.... also i wear a pair of basketball shorts, and over them my jt pro-series pants. gloves... i do wear... i just got the net jt pro-series.... very good for ya "wipers" out there.... get shot in the mask, "wipe" it off with the squeegee blade. cool function. also, it protects from hand shots, and scrapes when sliding.

both shots are rare; i wear neither:eek: hand shots bleed alot got hit about 6 times in the hands; the nut-shot is easialy avoided altogether by sitting in funny ways:D and in close combat; 1 hand on the gun the other hand is the blocker:D

i just made a cup. i went to modells got some really cheap knee pads and just stuck one in my pants. works perfectly

I wear gloves year round, only been shot bare handed once and it hert like A *****. I wear jt gloves, forget what kind they work well, i get shot a bunch in the hands. it don't hurt that bad any more. Ive ben nutt shoted a few times, had a lot of close calls, no cup. to bulky, i tried it got in the way gave me painfull marks in my inner thigh. i wear canvas pants i get a lot of obsorbtion of the pressure, a bunch of bounces. i do neal a lot so don't get to many nutt shots. if you thgink you might need one though go for it. in a bunker war you get hit higher up on the body normaly. if you get bunkered in all the wrong ways, deal, no sex for ya. guess you're gonna have a new latex barel condom.

I've been shot in the hands before too, but it didn't hurt THAT bad, but that was because it wasn't the hand with my trigger finger :D
And how much could a nut shot hurt? It couldn't be much worse than getting kicked there, aside from being hunched over cursing for the rest of the day.

Ok Nutt shots hurt way more than you think ... i got shot in my left nutt by a friggin 15 yr old with an angel ... I just laid there holding my nutts for about 10 minutes ... i always wear a cup now if you dont think they hurt you should check out this site

I wear gloves. I've been shot in the hand a few times and it hurts, and bleeds. I wear JT Premier 2001 gloves... they're great!

I don't wear a cup. I know I should, but I don't. They're not comfortable. Does anyone make a flexible cup rather than the plastic ones?

omg! after hearing both of those stories, i need to go get the hardest cup available!

that is so damn painfull... how do those guys keep playing paintball!

i feel bad for the kid who's scrotum was torn apart.

I can't believe how many ppl actually DONT wear cups!!! Don't you play any other sports?? Baseball, football?? You shoudl be used to how they feel if you play any other sports. I play soccer and i dont wear one for sucker cause it involves your legs much more and it doens' thurt that bad gettin hit by a soccer ball..and i've never caught a knee there in a soccer game..just on the thighs :)

BUt i wear one for lacrosse.. YOU GUYS..you all you have to do is wear one twice.. after the first 30 minutes, you will get used to it.

i still can't believe how many ppl actually dont wear cups... Don't be stupid!! Just suck it up and get used to it..you will need to get used to one for highschool/college sports anyway..

I know a guy who wears a hanging plastic "loin" cloth. He says it's alot more comfortable but man does he ever get some strange looks.

I wear gloves for the sake of my 'gun. Once, I got shot in the fingers 3 times from 15 feet, and I dropped my gun. So, the next time I came, I had some JT Power 2K gloves, and when I was hit in the hand that day I didn't even feel it!

It hurts getting shot in the hand.My stupid newbie point blanked me in the hand and the mark was there for like 2 weeks (you could see the outline of the paintball).I got some armored half fingered gloves.I don't wear a cup because if your unlucky enough to get shot in the crouch your probably standing out in the open anyway or somthing you screwed up on made that happened.If I get it in the crouch it will be a lesson to me to not do whatever caused me to screwup up again.I have shot my newbie in the crouch from about 35 feet away and he dropped his Stingray and nearly cried for about 30 minutes into other games.It was an accident,he charged me and I just rose my marker up and poped him and I was using SuperSwirls because I ran out of good paint and they're heavier than 600 pounder and dropped and nailed him there.

i dont think hand shots hurt,

I have Dye gloves they work great, dont get all sweaty inside, dont bleed, very comfortable, i have no complaints whatsoever
but if you get them there Medium size is like a small large is like a medium etc...

he tripped. sorta did a split in the air.. 3 paintballs on their target. that kid screaming.

ambulance. later, the field workers said his testicles got ripped open and he lost a nut. yikesl

I wear a rubber paintball cup in a jockstrap and brown cotton work gloves with the little rubber dots on the inside for grip the gloves I pick up at wal-mart or home depot for like $2.00. I wear the gloves all year works with my camo set up and does help take the sting out of hand hits.

Haven't been shot in the Nads yet but I got shot in the hand last time out!

I think gloves are a must, not for when you get shot in the hand but for all the crawling around and such.

I've taken 3 to the "jewels" :) so far, definately going to get a cup before I go out again .....especially after taking 2 in one day :drop: :cry: :cry:

I play woods so I wear gloves all the time just to protect my hands while I'm crawling around or hearfirst into trenches-never whats around in the woods. I once saw some poor kid who fell down and got a stick shoved all the way through his hand. OUCH! Don't know if gloves would have helped but they're cheap and save you from a lot of little cuts and stuff.
