but ive heard so many recomendations of the Cp

CP by far. J&J if you really want it though. I would rather go with the CP though.

how much does it cut down on noise
my stock 8 1/2" spyder is loud as heck, it sucks too

My cp cuts the noise down considerably on my spyder.
