I play speedball on a team. One time one of our backmen was running to his bunker off the break since it was a long ways away. It had just rained earlier that morning so the fields were super wet. Right off the break, he slipped and fell flat on his stomach. He got up and ran to his bunker and never got shot. I ended up gettin shot because I was too busy laughin at him.

Don't play on slippy fields unless you have some sort of anti-lube smeared on you!

I was playing on an unusually slick carpeted field. I got on my knees to slide into a bunker, but kept going untill I hit the bunker. It was fun.

i was playing in a tourny and they just recently watered the grass. it wasn't muddy but it was still slick. our team knew that so all of us slid into our bunkers for fun(even our back players cause we were playing a pretty newb team). i was playing mid and i slid into the snake. i jumped about 10 feet away on my belly and i slid into the snake up to my waste. it was fun. i strongly recomend sliding when the feild is wet. :D

That brings me back to my football days. Whenever it rained, instead of doing sprints, we would do air raids. We would run until coach blew the whistle, then we would leap on the ground, sliding as far as we could, then crawl until he blew the whistle again. And while crawling, if we were to high off the ground, the coaches would throw footballs at our arses. Off topic I know, that just made me think back to the good ol days.

Sometimes it rains. You just have to deal with it and play as best you can. Try to take advantage of the opposing players who might not be adapting well to the slippery environment.

at this local feild i was playing at, one of our games was played on their village course, tho most popular at this feild. Well, the day before it had rainded pretty hard and it was on and off all day. I ran into one of the "houses" for some cover. While I waited there for some covering fire, which was about a minute or two, my feet sunk into the mud. I didnt know it until I tried to run and almost fell on my face.

Theres this one field where I go, indoor. Its so slippery with all the broken paint on smoothe cement you fall on your face if you run full power. Fun for sliding. Went to slide into the 40, big feat for a backman, and ended up at the 50. "My team was like WTF? Our backguy is at the fifty and our front guy is at the 30? WTF?"
