It is basically the excal but open bolt, so there are les parts in the marker, but basically the same thing.

Hehe....Its ok I just found this out like a couple weeks ago when I talked to a guy that I know who has an excal. The only reason he knoew is cause he is sponsored by them so it hasn't gotten around to much yet

C4 is correct. It is basicaly an open bolt version of the Excalbur. MSRP is $775. They hope to have them available by Christmas. I've already pre-ordered one.
When the new AKA web page is released there will be more information on it.

So Dan, what is expected out of the viking, with the closed bolt is it going to be as consistint as the excal, will it have higher rof, or what? thanks

Basically it will have the rof capped at 13, will be about as efficient as the Excalibur, will have a larger shot pattern than the Excalibur, but will be $500 less and designed to compete with the Bushmasters, Intimidators and Matrixes.

does it look the same as the Excal? I really like that type of angel look to the gun .

It is exactly the same, just has less parts inside it.

Dan
what do you mean by larger shot pattern? less accurate?

Well it is an open bolt marker. Long range accuracy will be sacrificed. And yes I have seen the test done by warpig, but I really don't hold it valid.

Yeah it looks identicle accept it says viking on it and it has less internal parts as the excal cause its open bolt.

I don't really have an opinion yet about open vs. closed bolt but I dont think the test was valid either.

What has the world come to...:(

whats wrong with macroline?
Pig-Demon
01-18-2002, 03:07 PM
it leaks and in most cases has a lower flow than a steelbraided.
Moose

Macroline isn't weak
And I thought that it was just as high flowing as stainless steel.

some are. the macroline on my friends shocker.....well, you could fit a couple of steel braided hoses thru there.
slighty off topic but, why do people use microlines. those things are tiny. don't people know that high flow=good:eyes:

Are you thinking of MICRO line, because it’s tiny. Steel braided is just macro-sized hose wrapped in steel. i like steel better because macro leaks and i have had some bad experiences with macro (my brothers leaking all the time and then exploding).

Yeah, this is sorta off topic...uh...i'll get on topic
Uh...Vikings look sweet, hehe

ya, i know. the more i read about them the more i want one. now i have to decide out of three guns instead of two. timmy, GEN-X3, or Viking. ahh this sucks to many good guns not enough money.

I have never had a problem with macroline. It's easy to use, easy to bend, cut, fit, etc. It looks good, comes in a variety of colors, can be dyed, etc. I have never had it leak or explode..
..Of course my gun operates at 140psi.
I think if your gun runs at a higher OP, steel braided would be best.. But if your gun runs at a pretty low pressure, then dont be afraid to use macroline. It's convenient! .. Thats why its so popular :)

I said that because AKA has always recommended not to use Macroline. Then they put it on a test gun. I found it funny.
