I currently have the standard Black Dragun Bottomline from a couple of years ago and am looking to get a new marker. The 2 that I am interested in are the T.E.S. Sniper and the Dragunfly mechanical. I know that the TES can be problematic. The only negative comment i have heard about the dragunfly is the trigger pull. The only gun i have ever owned is the old school dragun, so would the dragunfly be too difficult to get used to? And just how much of a pain are the TES' problems? Thanks in advance for the info.

i had the tes for about a week and it was a pain in the butt. the eye had problems the battery would die extremely quickly, and the hose would freeze up and not let the CO2 through. So i got the hpa and it did not take the change very well, the hose shot rite out the fittings.

i got the dragunfly worked fine but with hpa, my friend has 1 with Co2 and the front end kit would freeze up (this is worse then getting paint in the internals of a bob long) i am still currently using the fly but once again if u hav Co2 stick with a less temperamental gun

if u know what u r doing with blowbacks the the tes shouldn't be to difficult to fix. I got one from a friend and after a while of tinkering its working not great(i just messed up the reg somehow) but it still works. Anyway i used to have an old vert bottle bd and i like the tes more than that and this tes doesn't even have an eye(its broke right now)

I don't want to buy a marker that I'm going to have trouble with and have to fix all the time. I have had no problems with my dragun, so thats why i'm looking at getting another dragun. From what i've read so far, it seems that the Dragunfly is less maintainence than the TES.

i won't be using co2 on the new marker.

there is no way at all that any autococker is easier to maintain than a blowback. you have to time the fly, learn to pull the trigger so you don't shortstroke it, get a barrel kit because it has no ball detent, and every time it breaks down there are a ton of parts that could have caused the problem.

Sorry if i dissapointed you but i could let you think that taking care of an autococker was easy. The TES on the other hand operates the same as your black dragun, so it is easy to fix.

As for you want ing to use CO2 neither gun will work well on it at all. The TES is too fast and the dragunfly's internals will get messed up. But if you get your tank anti-siphoned($15), the dragunfly will work OK because it doesn't shoot as fast as the TES.

No you do not have to get a barrel kit, just get good paint that fits your barrel. and every time it breaks down there are a ton of parts that could have caused the problem. Lie, most of the time if it breaks the problem won't deal with all the parts.

The TES will work just as good as the fly, just don't shoot as fast, not that hard to do.

I thought i said that i will NOT be using co2. anyway thanks for the info. Between the TES, Dragunfly, and The One. Which gun requires less upgrades to get running smoothly?
